Can you read this? I had trouble picking a color for the text that would be easy to see. And by the way, we definitely don't have to use it, I just felt like playing around.

I think the colors are a little difficult to read. Maybe a darker color like blue or something would stand out better

Okay, here is the info on posting pics. *Note: this does not work for personal pics stored on your computer*. I got this from the other message board that I frequent.


INSERT A PICTURE INTO A BB MESSAGE

1. Find the picture you want to use.

Use any search engine you like. Google is really easy because you just select the IMAGE tab and then type in the type of thing you're looking for.

2. Right click on the picture.

3. Choose properties.

4. Highlight and copy the url (address) of the picture.

Highlight -point to the line you wish to copy
-holding the left click down, drag the cursor to the end of what you want highlighted
-the area should appear with a darkened background
-point the mouse to the area you have highlighted and right click
-choose COPY

5. Prepare to type your message for the JMBB as you usually do.

6. Left click in the message or text box where you want the picture to appear.

7. Right click and choose PASTE.

8. You must type

9. Be sure you use the slash on the last. Like this: [/img] and do not leave any spaces between the bracket " [ ] " and the address.

It's free and you only have to click on the img line to bring your pics to your post. The hardest part is registering Really, it's for non technies like me, so I think that it has to be for more savvy folks like you. Good luck

I thought photobucket was for when you wanted to post your personal pictures (of your family) off your computer (I use imageshack). You mean, you use it when you insert clipart and stuff?

The method I posted does not work for personal pictures, it only works for swiping graphics and pictures off other websites.

I use photobucket for all the pics of my husband (Johnny Depp) that I've posted around. You take them off the web and save to your comp, then upload into photobucket!
