My dad, who is visiting, is really sick right now too. Has the flu, I believe. He stayed at my house and crashed on the couch while the girls and I went wtih my stepmom shopping.

Rella, sorry from me too. We had that congestion stuff 2 weeks ago. UUUGGGGHHHH.

Bonnie, the flu, really? What a bummer to have the flu when traveling. Nothing better than your own bed when having the flu.

Didn't know the flu was spreading so early. Here in Texas it is usually February.

But deep down in your stomach there is that WONDERFUL MAGICAL FABULOUS feeling that you have DISNEY ahead of you, around the corner!!!

It is just so awesome and for some mysterious reason everything else DOES get done!!!

Ok. I'll take your word for it. Right now it seems like a huge mountain to climb. But fun climbing, of course!!

We loaded him up with all kinds of remedies. He still has a whole week left of vacation. I hope he gets to enjoy some of it, at least. Hopefully he'll feel better for Thanksgiving and Colonial Williamsburg.

So sad about your Dad Bonnie... it's such a bummer to be sick on vacation.

It happened to me last Dec at Disneyworld.

I was SOOOooooooo sick I was actually happy to stay in bed 2 days while the boys went to the parks. Bronchitis, sinus infection and pink eye!! Just miserable. I still don't knwo how I got so sick!!
Lucky for me my best friend who lives in Orlando came and saved me. Had to go to the doctor for meds and then clear across town to the only pharmacy that would accept my insurance. But after a couple days the meds kicked in and did get to go play for a couple of days. It was such a bummer.

Watched L&O with DH, then fell asleep on couch during What Not to Wear

Don't know where DH went off to. He had to pull me off the couch and walk me to the bedroom as if I were drunk or something. I was sooo sleepy.
