Ok, but I need to know when and where! I am known as the party planner amongst the church people here, so I can do this job. What kind of a meet does everyone want.

Bonnie, I'm game anytime as soon as I get back! You just let me know when and I'm there.

We could do a day at Colonial Williamsburg, if it is open. Or we could just hang at a fun hotel. Whatever. I'm game. I don't even know what there is around there. Or it can just be a meet-up-for-lunch thing.

Colonial Williamsburg is ALWAYS open!!

We could go to CW and have lunch at Barrets or one of the colonial taverns, Christiana Campbells used to be George Washington's stomping grounds (it had girls who were saloon girls) if you know what I mean. But the food is good, DH worked there as a teen. Then we could hit the Outlets, and the Yankee Candle Store (it snows in there).

We can do whatever we want. Just like meeting up with friends for lunch or for whatever. It does not have to be all fancy, no stress involved. I would love to do Colonial Williamsburg though that would be fun.

Oh please come!!!! I could even talk my DH into cooking for us all out on the grill if we want. He's really very good about that kind of stuff, he is very indulgent to me, if I ask nicely.

Sounds great! That would be a weekend, then, wouldn't it? But I still say I want someone to double up on a hotel room with me and share the cost! I'm poor, ya know!!

I used to work at CW...I could point out the original buildings, and the ones you can go in without a ticket!

Like Mary said, the taverns are usually very nice for lunch...and Mary...what do you think about a piece of Death by Chocolate cake at the Trellis? Or maybe a Cheese Shop sandwich?

And yes, definitely Yankee Candle and the outlets!

Really?!?!?! When did they change that?? Gosh...I remember working both Thanksgiving and Christmas when I was there!

I think that's great though! There weren't that many visitors there on those days, and I know it was really hard for some people to leave their families on those days.
