Here Joker, I'm going to go lay down. I'll be back later..........

Dh is not in remission. There is still inflammation and now more cirrhosis. He has also developed a second liver disease, non-alcoholic steatic hepatitis (I think that's spelled right) NASH. It's also linked with high cholesterol and diabetes, so he's to go tomorrow for fasting bloodwork to see if he has already developed either of those. It's also linked to cancer at a higher rate than his autoimmune disease, but with both together, it's some number I didn't listen to because it was too high of a chance...........and I was kind of zoning a bit at that point. So, he needs to step up his sonograms to quarterly to screen for that.

He has gone back to work, the kids are in school, and here I am.

Actually - I do have some exciting news - I got a promotion at work today

I am a credentialing manager for a hospital system. We are having the medical staff annual meeting tonight.

FIL is doing better..he is still in ICU.
