You know I am still pretty new so I get to ask dumb questions...Did your DH have cancer? Sorry I missed what was wrong with him I just knew he was taking some tests.

Dh has an autoimmune disease. His own cells are attacking his liver. He's had to be on steroids, immunosuppressants and synthetic bile since his own is toxic. They have some pretty severe side effects, including debilitating muscle cramps and severe fatigue. We are very happy he may not have to take them anymore.

They have some pretty severe side effects, including debilitating muscle cramps and severe fatigue. We are very happy he may not have to take them anymore.

Oh wow. That sounds pretty rough. Is something that recently came up or is something he has had an known about for most of his life? Is he able to work with those side effects? I'm really sorry for you guys. I hope that he can quit taking the steriods. All of us who feel good should be extra thankful.

Yesterday for some reason they were giving people pastry names. So I begged Pixie to be the apple tart and now I am. Bonnie was creampuff I think and I missed that others got. Someone was pecan pie and another was pumpkin pie......

He was diagnosed when our Little son was 4 months old. The side effects are a pain, and the muscle cramps were the beginnings of my sleep problems, because he'd wake up screaming with them. He takes Quinine water for it, that's about it.

We're allright.........we've had a long time to deal with it, and now it may be done for a while.............

good afternoon gals! Paige sorry to hear your DH is going through so much. I really hope they declare him in remission and off those drugs. Its a wonder why the drugs we take to make us feel better actually make us feel worse because of the horrible side-effects!
