Once we were going to do a ghost tour in San Antonio and I had a brochure. When I called the # it was out of business and I gave up. We are going in Oct so maybe then. I would def give it a try when you go! If you live in a tourist town like I do, they would probablt have some kind of ghost tour. Worth a look.

I live in Tulsa. We have nothing. The golden driller which is a huge yellow statue of an oil worker. Woo hoo! :teeth:

Sorry to hear that. I have to say that I LOVE living in a tourist town. Of course it is a island so we can get bored easily. The nearest mall is 30 mins away as are most big restaurants. But I can't imagine living anywhere else!

Well, I don't think DH will ever want to move from here. I am actually a transplant from Alabama, I just moved here about 3 years ago. DH has lived here his entire life. I miss the south for sure. No place like home. While Tulsa definitely has it's good points, Birmingham will always be home to me. And lots of haunted places in the south. Lots of old plantations and such.

I hadn't tought of the fact that a lot of ghosts are in the south but your right. I am also a transplant. Lived in Ft Worth my entire life and ALWAYS wanted to live by the ocean. There is also the Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network here that I love volunteering at. (See user name) I have lived here for 2 years and DH has lived here 4 years. He lived in Dallas his whole life (about 1 hr drive from me) We just both had to move here to find each other. Funny how life turns out sometimes :)

I love that you do that! I am a huge dolphin lover. So much so that I have a tattoo of one. My mom is so proud. :teeth:

I'm back. Everybody's sleeping here..........a chance to relax without being pulled everywhere.........not that I mind, I'm just a bit tired.

:grouphug: WB Paige!

Ghosts, dolphins and relocation. Those are the topics of the night.

Ok, well, that's what Kim and I have been talking about anyway.:teeth:

My mom disowned me when I got my butterfly tattoo. I got it on my lower back and she told everyone it was on my butt :sad2: It took a year to get over it but now we can talk without the subject coming up.

I have one of those too! On my ankle. My dolphin is on my, um, chest area. My mom didn't disown me, but she had plenty to say about it!

My stepdad told me that if I had told him he would have gotten his friend to do it at a discount. Then he said never mind, your mother would have killed me! My dad thought it was cool as did my friends!

I'm not about to get a dolphin tattoo as my mother would probably disown me for all eternity!

I hear ya. The only time my mom has really given me grief over mine is when it was going to show in my wedding gown. She did NOT like that and threatened to tape my dress to me if I didn't buy one with a high enough neck to hide it. :rotfl:

Well Kim and Paige, unfortunately it is back to the grindstone for me tomorrow, so I guess I better head to bed.

I can't even turn my computer on! It will turn itself off. I have to steal my DH laptop when he isn't using it! I feel your pain.

Okay, tattoos: don't like 'em. Sorry, just not my thing.

Ghosts: Freak me out. While I officially do not believe in them, unofficiallly I am too creeped out to go on ghost tours.

Relocation: I moved from Texas to Oklahoma at age 8, back to Texas after college, and dh and I are sort of thinking about going back to Oklahoma for lower cost of liviing, close to family and slower paced lifestyle..........

I forgot the other subject........
