We went to Chinatown tonight for dinner. We went to a place that we usually really like, but tonight was just awful. The food was bad, service was bad, just everything. We were so disappointed. I hope this isn't a trend.

Sarah good luck to your DH tomorrow! I know he'll do wonderfully though. I hope the lights don't go out on your negotations.

Karen thats awesome about the new job. Please let us know all about it!

Hello all!! We are here in WI and although I don't have long (I stole dh's work laptop so that I could say hey to you all). How is everyone doing? What have a I missed?

you haven't missed too much. Denise and and Karen and Sarah's husband are getting ready to start classes. Bonnie starts next week. Everyone's kids are starting school too so everyone's getting that together. We had a couple newbies come join us here, which is cool. Southernforsure stopped by. And..I think thats all..

Heya Minty Mindy... We are in Milwaukee right now. My dh works for GE Healthcare Technologies...they are headquartered in Waukesha, WI (right outside of Milwaukee) and while he trains all week we play with my family.

We drove through Chicago on our way up. I love the skyline!! Gurnee Mills is calling my name so we may have to drive down and go to the mall there or do some outlet shopping in Kenosha one day this week.

Terrible Terrible news today. Ds came home from school today and said a girl in 9th grade died during 6th period. She was having lunch with her friends and fell over. She was rushed to the hospital and died shortly after.

The school made automated phone calls tonight to each household explaining what happened and to say grievance counselors would be at the highschool tomorrow. Supposedly the girl was a JV cheerleader and was very active.

Please keep this family in your prayers. I cannot begin to imagine what they must be going through.

Thanks for the update!! Glad to hear all is well for the Mad Chatters. This thread is addictive. Seriously...I was going through withdrawl!!

How have you been doing? What did you have for dinner?

I took the kids to a local deli and had roast turkey and swiss on a bagel. It was pretty good.
