Hi everybody, I'm dropping by at this hour to let everyone know how things are with my dad. We (meaning me, mom, dad, brother who drove down from Maine, and recently relocated sister) took dad to the VA today and met with Oncology. His main Dr. in this group is taking his case to the Oncology Board to present and discuss and possibly come up with a plan of action. My dad's case is an oddity. Most people who contract this kind of cancer (Billiary Duct System Cancer) normally die from it before the age of 65. My dad is 82 and just was diagnosed last week. Most are extremely unhealthy and my dad is one of the most healthy people I know. Once most are diagnosed with this disease they are already in failing health, dad went back to the gym today. So, the original prognosis of less than 6 months was a bit premature they told us today. They are now thinking it may be up to 2 years!!!!! I am so excited. But they of course have given us the symptoms to look for. They are talking about a type of radiation treatment that may even slow down the growth rate of his tumor, dad is willing to try anything as long as it doesn't make him sick, so chemo was not an option for him, but it is rarely used for this type of cancer. Thank you all for your prayers, please just continue to pray if you think of me!!! I love my dad and it will by quite the loss for me to lose him, I know it will happen, but I don't want my dad to be in pain.

I am almost to page 600 in book 7 (yes I know I'm a slow reader). I'm almost there folks!!!

Afternoon, Chatters! I'm off work and my weekend has officially begin! Too bad I don't have any plans, other than my sonogram. The older girls have tried inviting friends to spend the night, but no one can! So I get snaps for saying yes, without having to endure all the craziness!

I just want to inform Jay and Rella, who are fighting over Squidlet for their sons....I have a 10yo I will entertain offers for....

Quit trying to push your way into this Bonnie - the war is getting good. I have been offered the giraffe, 3 zebras, flock of flamingos and now the emu! Sorry folks, but the emu sealed the deal!

I need Squaw wife for MY 3 sons too!!!!!

Okay...one is almost 22, has had the same GF for almost 6 years, is a 'tad' freaky/artistic/goth!!!!

#2 will be 19 in Sept. That just so happens to be the legal drinking age here in Ontario (THAT should score some extra points!!! ) He is cranky/moody/sporty/Alex P. Keaton-like with his money!!! FAB hubby material there!!!

#3 just turned 11. He is already 5'8" (with a projected 'finish' of 6'5'' MIN.!! ). His height finally caught up with his weight...so he's all lean now too!!! Blonde hair, blue/green eyes. Wants to be a PILOT!!! Just think of all the WDW FAMILY vacations we could take together, Bonnie!!! Oh ya...he is VERY sweet natured/smart (can even woo your girl with 'broken' French ) and is an AWESOME Pitcher!!! Okay...my $$$$ is on Brett!!!

Hi chatters! Sorry I've been absent lately, I've kinda been in a funk. And a little busy. DD has had dance camp all week, and then a b'day party to go to last night. I have peeked in a time or two though.

Mary, I am so glad to hear good news about your DF! I'll keep him in my prayers.

Bon, if I don't talk with you before, good luck tomorrow. When I went, they told me not to eat or drink the morning of, and I drank a cup of coffee anyway. So then I had to play twister with gel crap all over my belly so the 20 something smartass could see around my morning dose. She wasn't pleased, but hey, I made it there, what more did she want?

My other DD gets home this weekend! Which means I have to get my house in shape cause her friend's family might be spending the night. How do you tactfully say "Thanks for hauling my offspring 11 hours west, now hit the HoJo?"

T, Jay, Lisa, Squid and Minty, I hope you are all well! Things should settle down next week for me, and hopefully I'll pull out of my funk. I don't even know why I'm funky. Nothings changed, and actually my MIL/SIL situation is better than usual. They are pretty much leaving us alone. Who knows? Hopefully the arrival of my 2nd DD will help improve my mood!

Hi Chatters! Well, no sonogram for me today. DD threw away my sonogram prescription from my doctor! I called the sonogram place and they said they could not see me without. The appt was for 7:30am and my regular doctor's office does not open until 9:00 on Fridays so they weren't able to call and have the doc send over a new one. So now I have to go get a new one and make a new sonogram appt. Oh well, such is life.

Steph!! I'm so sorry about your funk. I completely understand, it happens to me sometimes. Well, just know we miss you and we'll be here when you're ready to return! I'm glad your DD is coming home, that will be sure to lift your spirits.

Jay, I saw an interview with JK Rowling this morning on the Today show. It was so exciting to hear from her! It was a 3-part one. Is that the one you saw yesterday? (Part one, I mean).
