We are in the process of changing all the computers over to a new DSL network and my 'puter is down while this process goes on!

Hey everyone!! I'm trying to get myself together after the last 48 hrs. Too many deaths, and families losing children. We have many friends who children at Tech, DH has a son who is a graduate student at Tech. Yesterday was a most difficult day around here. I have friends at work who have children there and so does DH. We are all still so raw!!! None of us really know which way to turn, just when we think the bad news is over, we get some more.

At this point it looks ok. DH's son is ok, and that was the most important one to us. Most of our colleagues kids are ok too. Everyone is still so numb.

I'm so sorry that you had so many close to you involved in this awful event. I don't know anyone even in the area but I am just still in shock. I was sitting in class today and just thinking how it could happen to anyone anywhere. My campus has been upping security devices and plans for a while, but that doesn't really stop it. You know?

It is pretty awful. I feel so bad for the families who are left to deal with this. I hope all your friends children are safe.
