What kind of puppy? Do you like big or small dogs? We don't have any pets....we had a beta fish for a long time his name was Phineas and I loved him. I always liked fish for pets.

Hi Jo. I have never enjoyed fish. I don't like cleaning their tanks. I love to watch them...........but I don't like taking care of them. Nor the little rodents.

I do like cats and dogs. No way dh would go for a cat, he doesn't like them that much, but he is rather fond of the one we have even though he won't admit it.

Small dogs are better. Portable. We have a Boston. I don't want another Boston. I'd love a poodle, but dh wouldn't go for it.

Thats why I liked my beta he lived in a flower vase and was happy. That was pretty easy to clean.

DH also doesn't like cats and he doesn't like poodles either. Must be a guy thing.

My DD has a goldfish she got at a fair 5 months ago,
I never thought it would last more then a month.

We have lab/chow mix. he's midium size dog and glued to DH.

We have a Jack and he is hysterical...the smartest dog I've ever seen.

FWIW.....
We love our little black Pomeranian! He is not one of the tiny 4lb sort but a bit larger @ 10lbs. He is calmer than the tiny ones. We are dog people and have had some wonderful dogs and he is the best dog we've ever had. They shed within their coat so if you brush regularly there is almost none! And they don't need regular haircuts like some breeds either. We have him just groomed 3 times a year.
