Well, hello Paige!! How are you? I am finally feeling better.

Well that's a good thing. They've closed 2 school districts and a religious school in our state for flu outbreak. We got an email today that we had 1100 students and 80 teachers out yesterday.

OMG!!! My whole family gets a flu shot every year. Emily had a seizure disorder and it was required by her neurologist, because of the threat of high fevers.

So are ok, you haven't been exposed have you?

Well, not sure. We have a custodian ill that I speak with often and one of my kids out ill the last two days. But it should be fine. We are hoping the shot does its job, and then I do wash before coming home, and have the boys both do the same at school before they leave and we all wash again when we get in the house. We've been doing that for over 4 years, since he was diagnosed, so it's a fairly well-established habit.

This is the first year I got my kids a flu vaccine. They actually got the nasal mist and not the shot.

Dh and I got the shot. The hospital gives it free to employees and their spouses.

So far, so good.

I am good, Paige. I have not been on much. Just been busy with work. Out to dinner with the girls. Down to DS' college to see him....you know same ole same ole!!!

I must say, while it is cold outside, I'm not cold anymore. We got the heat fixed, but it is still making weird noise. I'm trying to get DH to get the guy back out here again to ollk at it, but the guy says that there is nothing wrong.

Maybe you need to get someone else to look at besides that one guy?? Someone else from that company for another opinion, you know!!!
