Steph....I vote that we do a value....maybe even ASMu Suites to get more people in one room. I am thinking 100 for my park ticket (since I will have days left), 160.00 for airfare, 150.00 for food and DRINK, and whatever the room costs.

Hi guys! As far as the suites...UGH...instead....do individual rooms (get them connecting if ya want). But the fold out couch and the "chair bed" in those rooms are NOT comfy. Nothing like the day bed at deluxe or a fold out at a DVC resort. ISH....back pain! Just my two cents...I don't want to be stuck on one of those. I would like to stay Thur.-Tues. But in the end, I am okay with staying on alone or getting there first.

I know this is way back in the posts but I am in the process of catching up.

HOW ARE YOU ALL!!???

Tonight dinner here was fish sticks and shrimp nuggets and carrot sticks. Easy (when dh is gone for dinner I tend to go way simple). In my own defense, a few nights ago I hand squeezed limes for limeade, diced and chopped tons of veggies and shredded my own cheese. So this sort of evens it out


I have never stayed at the POP but I have heard a load of good things. Anybody ever stayed there?

Also, it may be cheaper to stay at a moderate or a cabin (with more comfy beds!!!) if we are all in together.

AND...finally...I would still like to try and set something up as far as a special tea or dessert or something. I am sure we could do something for $30 or less (yes a person...but awww the fun)...and it would be really special! What do you guys think about that?

Darn it, I missed you Jay.

I stayed at POP on my last trip.

The room was fine and it's great to have a bunch of pools. I had never stayed at a value before and likely will not again.

Everything POP was always packed (it was pretty busy when we went). The pools were always epmty, but it was january and cold.

DH missed the quiet pools (even though we didn't swim) and the hot tub especially since it was cold. He's a fish.

I really can't put my finger on why we didn't like it. I think it's awesome for families and definitely is disney feeling. We preferred the POs I think because they weren't super Disney feeling. We loved walking around POR.

The buses were pretty good. I don't remember waiting too long for anything.

Hope you see this!

We'll probably be back when we have kids.

L-O-V-E-D Pop!!!! Nothing wrong with the place at all!!! Have stayed there twice. Of course, it's not a Mod and far from a Del. but we're not in our room much anyways!!! Perfectly adequate for sleeping, getting ready, swimming AND they have an awesome pool bar area!!!!

I am still here, it seems that the time is off...

We stayed at the ASMU suites in December and loved it!!!! DBIL slept on the pull out couch and chair they had no complaints...

How is everyeone it has been sooo long since I have been on I have missed you guys so much...

Sorry...I didn't see you all sneak in. I am still here. As far as resorts for the meet...I don't think we even all need to be at the same place. If you and your roomie or you and yourself (if you don't want to split a room) wants to go for a hotel somewhere I say go for it. Finding the "right" price and amenities for everyone might be hard. But as long as we are all there it will be great!! Are any of you up for the meet?

THANKS FOR THE INFO about the Pop! I have never even been over there. We have done ASMovies and loved it. Then again, I love AKL and the Contemp. as well. Those are my top three resorts at WDW....how much more varied could ya get?!

They changed the meet to Jan or Feb of 2008.

we started with the shower walls in the master bath and well...now the tub is gone too, oh and the walls...and the plumbing, ohh dont forget the ceiling NO kidding...

the people that lived here before us had already remodeled some but the shower was a MESS, when we tore out the walls we found everything was dry rot...they covered it up!!!!! Were they crazy???!!!! So we had to keep demoing (is that even a word) until we fouind it all and tore it all out...we are sooo in ouver our heads.

We are going to make a walk in shower, ceramic tile. If we are lucky...

DH has been working so hard...hopefully the plumber will be able to do his part in the next week or so...

Have you picked out the colors yet?

Yep..I am all about neutrals...so guess what!!! The 12x12 tiles are a taupe color w/ a marble effect, the 1in accent tiles are 4 earth tone colors, not completely sure on design yet- the base of the shower will be swanstone, I dont like standing on wet tile... Anyone with design ideas please share...

we found the new fixtures online- DH talked me into adding body sprays...not sure if we have the water pressure but we will soon find out.
