Paige...which gifts were the boys the most excited to get? Trisha...how about your ds?

He loves his "string guitar" as he calls it and his roller skates. He would open presents that weren't on his list and say, "I didn't ask for THIS!". It was hilarious. He has also had a grand time spending his gift cards on books and playing Disney DVD bingo.

So Cy...what did you get for Christmas? What were your kids favorite gifts? What did you guys do on NYE?

I got the lamp that I mentioned. Also got a dinner cruise with DW. An MP3 Player plus some downloads. Also a camp stove/griddle for Boy Scouting.

DS1 favorite was an IPOD - I got it for him, but had my Mom give it to him, because I told him it would be a cold day in hell before I gave him one. He really wanted one and my Mom was going to give him a inexpensive MP3 player (the one I got - which I like :yes and I wanted him to be happy. DW says I am hard on the outside but soft inside.

DD favorite was a Disney MP3 Player.

DS2 favorite was an old star fox game for Super Nitendo. He really wanted a Wii, but that wasn't happening - we convinced him that if he saves his money from Christmas and his Bday (Feb 14th) we will kick in the rest for the Wii for his Bday.

Just went to the movie for NYE - Rocky Balboa. We played some games and watched the ball drop and off to bed. We had a long trip for Mom's Bday (3 hours each way). I also baked her cake from scratch on NYE

Too funny!! That Disney DVD Bingo was a hit here last year. "Goofy" (he was 6 then) it and loved it. All of them loved it.

Where did he get to go book shopping?

ds10 liked his ancient coins (except they will take months to get the grime off...they have to soak in olive oil and then be scrubbed with a toothbrush and dish detergent every week and then dipped in peroxide and then back to the oil for another week) and his PoTC legos and his Nintendo ds. Those were all big hits for him.

ds7 liked his Nintendo ds and a Matchbox Yeti set that he really liked.

ds5 liked his Jack Skellington doll that has heads that he can pop on and off and his Nintendo ds.
