We now have the The Maclaren Major Special Needs Stroller but I do not have the instruction manual.

I figured out how to unfold it but can't figure out how to fold it back down. Can someone tell me the steps?

Also I know the foot rest has to come off for folding it, how do you carry it while on WDW buses?

And is there a carrying handle I'm not seeing on this stroller? I see other maclaren strollers do have a carrying strap once it is folded up. If not, what do you carry it by? I'm worried about harming the stroller somehow.

Thank you for any and all info! Our trip is soon so I am wanting to practice this.

Is this the umbrella type stroller for larger children with special needs? If so, we used to have one before my DS outgrew it and then we gave it to a fellow DISer. Anyway, there is a little clip/lever of sorts where the stroller folds on I believe the right side. You need to lift up that clip, then push the handles forward after removing the footrest. If you can find that clip/lever you will see that it holds the lock in place so the seat doesn't fold when someone is sitting in it. We loved ours and wished they made one for even larger children/small adults. It folds up so nicely and doesn't take up much space. Good luck!

Yes that is the one. I'll look for it. I was unsure and didn't want to force it or bend something.

Thanks!

Ours is an older model but you have to remove the footrest, pop up the back metal brace behind the back, and then reach with both hands and release the brackets on each side of the chair around the place where the the seat base is. On our stroller there are release brackets on each side you have to release. Once you release them and the stroller folds they lock in palace so the stroller stays folded. Ours does not have a carrying strap but we just held it by the handle and basically pushed it with the wheels on the floor while it was folded.

I carried a plastic bag with us that I would put the foot rest into when we weren't using it and then I'd put it in the diaper bag or my backpack. It was a pain at times but worth it to have such a light weight stroller that fit larger children.
