If I remember there was either a Mad Magazine or Cracked "Mazagine" satire called the Lust Boat.

In one panel, a patron was complaining of his lack of luck to Isaac who passed him a bowl.

"What are these, peanuts?"

"Nope, they're room keys..take some and enjoy"

There's only so much space in your mind to clutter up and I remember old humor mags instead of work-related items.
