First let me introduce the characters involved in this....
Me - (Jason) 36 year old self proclaimed Disney nut!
DW - (Brandy) My 34 year old wife
DS - (Samuel) My wonderboy just hit the big #1! Technically Sam has been once before but he was in his mommas belly.

I had started to plan this trip months after we had visited last year. All the while wondering what our baby would be like. Sam came to us, with a rare birth defect, one requiring 4 surgeries in his first 6 months of life (including a life saving one just two days after being born). The first few months were rough on all of us....challenged like I never thought I would be. Fast forward to now...Sam is doing great! So what else should we do, all of us....plan a fun Disney Trip! We decided to shoot for free dining and we got just that. We don't have a ton of money so our stay would be short. We are also driving down from Saint Albans, VT. For those that don't know the area, we are about 10 minutes from the Quebec border. Yeah thats Canada. We plan on stopping in Fayetteville, NC on the way down and then Stephens City, VA on the way back...spending two nights there. Our vehicle of travel....the smallest of our vehicles and best gas mileage for a trip that will see over 3000 miles when we are finished.....

Planning has been going great all ADRs in place all reservations and travel arrangements all set....the countdown is getting closer and closer...but wait....someone else had a different idea for us...with only 11 days left until we leave.....the inevitable bad luck that hit us that one day (clothes washer died, and wife was in ER with food poisoning).......going in late to work due to the wife being in the ER....this happens.....
A deer I never saw..the good thing, I'm ok, the bad we have to alter our plans, and take my wifes vehicle which is slightly older, bigger and has 60+k miles on it. I hope we make it...we now don't have to worry so much about not having enough room either. But this is only the beggining of what could be a VERY interesting trip....
