was the greatest show that I have ever seen!! If you get a chance to see it do not miss this show. My dh (bless his heart) got tickets for our family for my birthday (9/11) and we had the best time.

Wasn't it great, Kani!!!! We saw it last Sunday, very uplifting. You walk out humming some of those tunes, LOL. Glad you guys went and enjoyed. And happy birthday.

We went to the Sunday matinee and I was really surprised by how many really, really young children there were in the audience. IMHO, some of those kids were really too young for the experience. It's hard for a two year old to sit still for the whole movie on video tape, and the show was over two hours long. The family sitting in front of us pulled out a bag of Fritos to try and keep their little boy quiet -- so then we had to listen to the crinkling of the bag and the munching of the Fritos!

We had the same family sit in front of us at Aida. The only difference was the little girl was about 3 and was on Mom's lap, off Mom's lap, on Dad's lap, off Dad's lap, etc. All I kept thinking about was that it must be nice to have $100 to blow to take your small child to Broadway. I think my kids are finally old enough, at 7 and 8, to make it worth our while to consider taking them to the theater. I'm gonna make TLK their first Broadway experience.
