The Light Parade in September???

We were thinking of going in october of 09, ( i know its along time away)... but my grandma really wants to see the light parade and it didn't run the last october we were there. We are thinking about going in september because its longers hours (I think) and the light parade might be on. I'm waiting till they do the September shows on the calender because i know next year will be more or less the same, but i was hoping maybe someone on here went around september or could remember if it was on or not! Any advice on when to go would be great! I really like october because not many people and the halloween stuff was up, but as i said my grandma really wants to see the parade and we still have LOTS of chances to go where as her not so many! Thanx in advance for any info!

The DEP traditionally shows its very last showing of the Summer season on Labor Day. It will then go dark through peak Christmas season (Around Dec. 20).
