The "Let's-talk-and-drool-over-the-Ghostbusters" Thread! **Update in photos pg 1!**

I got some......every time I go to download it seems to take really a long time - then something happens and I have to come off and think I'll do it again later when it's quicker. Tonight...it's soooo slow. Been on a while now, but must come off soon - still quite a lot to do....after Friday - it's half term holidays over here so I can be on for much longer with you!! I tried to vote again but it wouldn't let me!! Debating whether to ask Barry to send me the video of his meet with you etc....how much GB show did he record? As I'm not going to be able to get back over there for a while, it would be nice to see some of the show...

ok! Anyway, yes Barry recorded some of the show...but I have some shows recorded as well...and am planning on bringing a camcorder during a future trip to get a more recent version of the show...lol.

I can't wait to see the footage Barry got though. He had his camcorder out quite a bit throughout the day.

Yeah...I can't wait to seehis footage! Especially of the mic check...and whenever I talked to the guys. He missed out on when the GIR complained about not enough pictures of him on the website and our "you wanna start something?!" expressions. That was prceless!! He went with my parents to see the Horror Makeup Show while I lingered at the stage area. His loss

Should I bring Kevin's camcorder to Universal with me this Saturday and record the mic check and shows?

Should I even GO to the mic check? Would I be a pest by going to it every time I go to Universal (only I won't go to the mic checks during my birthday trip except for the first day I'm there...and my birthday...oh and Monday since that is supposedly a day my fave GB works...LOL...crap....)?

HEY GHOSTBUSTERS IF YOU ARE READING THIS IT'S FLY FLY'S BIRTHDAY ON THE 11TH......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well you never know....they might read our chats! Also as it's your birthday - take your camcorder.......excuse??!!!...well you need to practise to make sure you are familiar with all the gadgets ready for the wedding! When you are there...ask the GB's how they feel about doing a "2004 Pin-up Calendar" for us! You could take all the pics with them in varying degrees of undress (Ohhhh wish I was there!!) Then make a calendar. In England Lloyds chemist make calendars up out of your holiday pics......so I'm sure you must have that too! Then you could ask say for 10 Calendars...charge extra and make a bit of extra money for Christmas!! and get to take "private" pics of the GB's....Gosh....maybe bits of the Virtual RPG thread would come true....they come back to your hotel room for the pics and.......Selina, Selina....getting carried away again.....

Fly fly....You could make an absolute fortune.....165 pics!!! think what you could do with that (with their permission)!!! Calendars, t-shirts, Xmas cards, Gift Wrap, notepads, pens.........all you need is there permission and obviously they take a huge percentage of the profit....but at just 16 you could still make a LOT of cash!!

Do you know I can visualise the store........."FLY FLY'S"......inside personalised neon yellow seat cushions with Gb logo on the front and fave pic of one on the back!! GB tea-towels for grandma and GB thongs! GB candy, GB cowboy hats, kiddies orange suits, red suits and green suits, t-shirts, mugs, dinner-service, jeans, jackets, ..the list is endless!!!! Hey and video's of their "dance" routines then Barry and Spidey could practise before the show........HEY BARRY...YOU'D LOVE THAT WOULDN'T YOU!!

OK - need to find a cure for GBDT...actually, the video Barry made definitely helped from the withdrawl...

Selina - in the video, there isn't much of GIO2 since another guy was there earlier in the day, but all the clips included of GIO2 are towards the end...and only a few seconds. Maybe for Christmas, with the calender, I'll send you various clips of him. You'd like that, wouldn't you?

Actually, GIO2 is featured in the rest of it after Barry asks my dad, "Do you have the hots for the Ghostbusters too?"

lol yeah...my dad probably didn't hear the question too well because he didn't quite answer the question... Barry talks really softly.

But Barry has inspired me to make a Ghostbuster video, myself. I have some footage of the show (need some updated footage though) and need to get footage of the mic checks!!!! Soemtimes the jokes are so funny (if they have any that day).

G2G for now...try to be on in a little bit (first period, so we'll see. I'll try to be on again but leave this class at 8:45AM EST. I'll post before then if I can, or I won't be on until 2:15PM EST).

Ooooh...my mom just told me she thinks the guy who played Wolfman is one of the fill-ins for the Ghostbusters Show. She wasn't sure and had me look at the picture. I quickly grabbed a picture of who I thought she was talking about, and to my luck both the picture I grabbed and the one she showed me were the exact same angle of the guy's face.

Well, I'm not 100% sure, but it's a VERY good chance it's the same guy which is really interesting...even funnier since I thought Wolfman was a bit cute (aside from the makeup and full fake body hair...haha ).

That was just a neat...um...discovery...

I hope to have pictures up in a bit! I got the pictures developed at Eckerd....actually, we only had them put on a CD...boy, that saved me HOURS of work. No more scanning!!!!! Now I just just upload straight from the CD. Plus, the CD Label has an index print right on it...that's really clever. I think I may do this more often......

Anyway, I think I may try editing material I already have...but I can NOT wait until I get a digital camcorder...recording video onto a computer from a VHS-C camcorder really makes the quality of video lower than I would like. That's why it's on my wishlist! I'd really like it for my birthday so I'd have it for my birthday trip, but that's not gonna happen...I never get anything expensive for my birthday because it's so close to Christmas.

I can't wait until I can put up Barry's video on my website though...but I'd be a bit embarrassed if any of the Ghostbuster guys saw it...especially one in particular whom I see almost everytime I go to Universal...you'll see why when you see the video...

Hey Selina...decided I will add the video on my website...even if it'll be considered blackmail in my eyes...

Anyway, looks like another vote in the poll...another for GICBH. If only I knew who was voting...they certainly don't bother to post!

I added the Beetlejuice's Graveyard Revue pictures, and then realized I forgot to drop off another roll of film and will have even more pictures of that show to add.

It's 11:20PM so it's still exactly 2 weeks until I'm 16!! Just a week and a half until my 4-day trip!

I'm still going to make you that calender, Selina! Though the special request pictures...not sure. We'll see...we'll play that by ear. I'll at least put pictures I take from the show!

That's all for now...good chance I'll get a new camcorder by Christmas...but probably not in time for my birthday trip to Universal...we'll see...maybe my parents want to surprise me and are trying to make it seem impossible...or maybe it really IS impossible...either way, I'll at least have Kevin's camcorder to use for now.

Oh yeah! The wedding is Saturday (lol note to IMGONNABE40: not MY wedding!! A friend's wedding..).

Better go...I'm using this like our USC thread! Whoops! Oh well.

Hi Clare...I've been wondering who is voting too!

That would be good if you could load film clips onto your website - give it a new dimension. Hope the GB show keeps running until I can get over there - it would be maddening if you made me a calendar, had a good drool, then went over and it was replaced by something else! Well I hope the wedding goes well - isn't it nice that Kevin's leant you his camcorder. I did have one - but it's not working properly now, don't know what's wrong wth it.
