The Legend of the Lion King

Is the Legend of the Lion King still closed for refurbishment or has it re-opened? Thanks in Advance

Do you mean Festival of the Lion King at AK? If so, yes it has reopened and the theater is now enclosed. If you mean Legend of the Lion King, the puppet show at MK, then it is gone and is now Mickey's Philharmagic 3-D Show.

I did mean the Festival of the Lion King in AK - Sorry. My Brain is Mush from too much planning. Thanks for your quick reply. How much prior to the show do you need to line up, we are going next week.

You can get in line 15-20 minutes before the show and easily get in. (At least when it was an open-air theatre). I have just walked in two minutes before the show before, but that will probably not be doable next week. It's going to be crowded.

I am also going next week, who knows, I may even sit by you at the show and not even know it!

We missed it last week. We got out of the Pocahontas show and went over to the Lion King at like 2:55 for the 3 o'clock show and it was full. Guess we'll catch it next time.

We were there on Saturday 10/25 for the 3:00 show and the theater did was not full. The later you go in the day the less crowded this show seems to be.

As for the theater now being enclosed, it was hot when we were there and it certainly was not cool inside the theater - in fact I thought it was hot. It sure didn't seem to be air conditioned. Maybe the AC was out of order.

BTW, I really hate the way guests are seated at this show. We got inside about 10 minutes before the show. Two sections were full and a third section was being filled. The fourth section only had about the first 5 rows filled. The CMs would not let anyone else sit in the fourth section. We wound up stuck in the last row of that third section. Guests who showed up after the show started got to sit in the fourth section with much better seats. The process just didn't seem right to me. Sorry for the rant.
