We then rode TTA and as we were riding saw the 3pm parade but it was only 12.10pm

So, today the question "When is the 3:00 parade?" wouldn't be so silly.

We went to ride Maelstrom but the queue was 20 minutes so we FP’d it

I'm sorry, is it a FP? (Sorry, I had to...)

Once we were back at POR all we wanted was hot showers and hot chocolate and some TV, so much for Florida in August

And I still say, "Thank goodness!"

So this is the day I did the exact same thing as you...we should have bumped into each other!!!! Oh well.

We were at MK that day too! We got a phone message that night that told us all the parks were open at 8am that morning. It was empty and we found that most of the fast pass machines weren't operating. I took a picture of the peter pan ride saying there was a wait of zero minutes. But apparently I didn't take my lens cap off. Opps!

It was so empty wasn't it! We did get a phone message but obviously missed the 8am opening bit

The MK sounds like it was great! I am jealous of you and Kat getting to experience the empty park.

It really was so nice and quiet, even if it was wet

I know and that was on our way out about 12.30pm!

What a great morning at MK! No lines, pictures with the princesses, and ice cream! Too bad that Epcot was so much more crowded!

It was great, we couldn't understand why Epcot was so much busier

Wait a second... you mean we can see all the Princesses without having to shell out big bucks for a Princess meal?

You didn't know that??? You can also see Pooh and friends, Donald etc (well they rotate)

We'd already done it a few days before and anyway 2 x splash, 2 x BTMR, about 6 turns on Buzz plus other stuff I think we did more than most people do in 2 days

Ok, I have to comment on the bus sitiuation and the girl in the wheelchair,

What kind of idiots are there in this world, it's rain, people, you not going to melt if you get wet OMG< the lack of courtesy and the amount of rudeness that is growing in this world is disgusting.

Anywho, great job Jess, love the pics, especially your Dad with Aurora.

Those ice creams from Mrs Potts sound so yummy. May have to check that out next time

We then went and queued for the Princesses and still hardly no wait. We were first in the line and when it was our turn Cinderella was waiting and she took Ellie and walked in with her, Ellie was so thrilled!

How neat! I love all the Princess pics - David did a fine job as Prince!

When we got to Epcot it was really raining and all FP’s were gone, very different to MK.

MAELSTROM IS A FAST PASS?!?!?!

The rain at the bus stop was horrendous, it was literally coming in horizontally so the people (about 2 families) had formed the queue one row back so as not to get soaked so we just joined in. Well we waited ages for a bus and more and more people arrived and eventually didn’t know where to queue. When the bus arrived all hell let loose, people trying to get on from all directions and to make it worse a very handicapped girl in a wheelchair also wanted to get on and people were jumping on the bus before her It was pandemonium and a bit scary as nasty words were being thrown around, thankfully a second bus was sent and we managed to get on that one as the first was still loading the wheelchair. Magical place everyone, magical place
