Oh Kim I was getting worried about you having good taste (you know with the Apolo crush) but now that I know that you like Constant Comment. I am now feeling a little more positive about your tastes. Isn't it just the best tea around. I can't drink anything else.

As for the summer Ya Ya meet, I am not sure that we officially said much about it. It came about when Jodie's mean old DH wouldn't let her come to Cincinnati with him. He was afraid that I was an ax murderer or something like that. She and I started plotting about a summer meet and making it sound like a Mom w/Kids vacation instead. We both have passes to Paramount Parks and talked about Kings Dominion in VA or King's Island in Cincinnati. We just need to settle on where is the best central location for those who would want to show up. Of course we would love to meet at WDW but didn't think that was feasible. So if we had one somewhere on this side of US would you be interested. Actually, who else would be interested? EVERYBODY WOULD BE WELCOME, EVEN DH'S BUT ONLY IF THEY BELIEVE IN IN TAG FAIRIES AND THE YA YA'S.

Well I would have to say "can we pick another place" to a Paramount meet... the area is fine it's just not my thing at all. I haven't been in years and since my back isn't so good roller coasters aren't fun anymore... just painful I would happily offer up my house for a meet should anyone want to take me up on that It is so hard to find a central location though since we are seriously so spread out all over the country. I know we have a good portion around the Ohio/Michigan area it seems (just by chance) and if it is in that are (as long as not way too far up north in Michigan) I can very very easily do it. Otherwise I know the other locations would be decided on a case by case basis

Constant Comment is in a class of it's own!! Love it!! As a teenager, I sold Christmas trees at my uncles tree farm. I would sit in my little office snuggled up by my tiny little portable heater, drinking cup after cup of Constant Comment. The smell of it, to this day, takes me right back to that little office.

Hmmm... well if I were to try to come (which I would definitely try to) central to all of us (assuming our East coasters came too) would be somewhere right in the middle of the country. Who has a map? Eeeny meeeny minee.....

The place can be anywhere. I had just mentioned to Jodie that I love rollercoasters and asked how close she was to King's Dominion. Allison and I may just have to drive to VA to check out the roller coasters there by ourselves.


Elaine you seem to be most centrally located for a Michigan/Ohio meet. Of course that is why Columbus is our state capital. Of course anywhere up north is not a far drive for me either. I can be in Toledo in about 4 hours or Cleveland in 5. We have several months to decide though.

A Cincinnati meet is also a great possibility. We have the Cincinnati Zoo, a children's museum, the Reds, Old Coney Island, King's Island, The Beach Waterpark, and of course just a few malls.

So how cold does it get in California. I always think of CA as being nice weather anytime?

If we are thinking of a meet how about we find out what the most central place is to everyone? Or we could if were bringing families think of Wisconsin dells. Way too many things to do there.

Its a town where there are dozens/hundreds fo water parks. Also a lot of other things like shows, shopping, and a few others. I would post a link but its under construction right now.

I have no problems driving to Ohio!! Driven it lots of times on my way to Chicago! Just let the kids get out of school and we are there!!! Um...if I came without kids is that ok too?? Ya Ya fun will be a little different with the petite Ya Yas there. Of course if Betty's kids keep the petite ones occupied (we had tossed this idea around too) it would still be cool! Kim...don't cry! Betty and I consoled ourselves in a pm when I had to tell her that poopy hubby wouldn't take me with him to Cincinnati! I am fine with whatever everybody wants to do! And Betty...come on down! We can do King's Dominion and ya'll can bunk at my house! I only live about 30 min away!

THe water park thing is a little sad. It use to just be the dells, some camping and little kitchy places here and there.
