Yes....our team won the team competition and I won the individual with a 22 lb loss.

Only 13 more to hit my target weight


So how is everyone this morning?

Milk, bread and egg people I can understand. But some people buy the strangest things. Like they're not going to survive with the hersheys syrup or their glade air fresheners?? We really wonder about some people when we seeing what they're buying during these snow rushes.

Emergency Needs:

Off they go to buy everything they can get their hands on and than some.

all I ever worry about is whats for dinner tonight. If I ever got snowed in, I'd be HUNGRY!!!

Okay do you ever get dressed in the morning and seem okay with what you picked out, than get to work only to find you don't really care for what you put together. That is me today.

I do believe it is going to be a long day.

often I am so tired when I wake up that If I didn't pull out clothes the night before, not only do I not care for it, it usually doesn't even match.

One meeting down, one to go. Yuck!

I had two off site meetings.... one yesterday and one today.... both YUCKIE!!!!! I never thought I would miss being at school

We ended up with something like 13 inches of snow yesterday

It was such a Sad day

my friends Father was killed in a snowmobile accident Monday night
his sled went thru the ICE on the lake he was Alone
he got disoriented and walked 2 miles and ended up in an ice shanty
he pulled a mattress overhimself trying to stay warm and died from exposre

the really sad part is some LOSER found his sled sticking out of the ICE and didn't reporr went home got his pickup and came back pulled the sled from the ICE and STOLE IT!!!!!!!! My friends family will always wonder if the guy had called the cops would they have found her Dad in time to help

AND.....

One of my DH's fellow truck drivers was in a HORRIBLE accident on the NORTHWAY the same route Will drives on all the time

IT was about 5 AM or so and he was driving to his store to deliver
and a Mustang doing 100+ miles an hour driving in the wrong lane slammed HEAD ON into his Tractor trailer.

The man in the mustang died he literally exploded on impact into pieces.
So sad for his family. He was 50 years old ...They are trying to figure out why he was on the wrong side of the Northway why he was speeding
there are so many questions right now.....

The Tractor Trailer caught on fire but the Driver was able to jump out and physically he will be OK but he is kinda shaken up over the accident.

I am just glad it is a new day today

Lots of snow here, kids are out of school and I'm going into work just a little late. Figure I'll leave in about an hour.

And DH was just called out to work! A very scary situation so please keep him (us) in your thoughts and prayers today that everything turns out safely!

There seems to be a lull in the mornings after everyone leaves for work. Since I work mostly from home (and become full time work from home next month!! ) I can continue to post when others can't. Of course, I do work as well, but with 2 computers, it is easy to multitask!
