At one point I remember a tour you could sign up for in The Land. Does this still exist and does anyone have any details (cost, length of time, what the tour is about)? Has anyone done this? My kids are studying hydroponics so I thought this would be a good one to check out. Thanks.

I don't have any details but I know that the Land is temporarily closed for rehab due to Soarin'. When is your trip?

Behind The Seeds Tour,DW and I have done it serveral times.A CM college intern will guide you on a behind the scenes tour of the land.IT can last 45 minutes to a hour depending on how many questions are asked. It cost us $8 each with our DVC discount. I think first tour starts at 11:00 am and then runs on the hour until late afternoon. :goodvibes :earsboy: :sunny: :flower:PS it is limited to 16 people per tour. :wave2:

Oops! I forgot about that. We are only an hour away so we can go anytime but I would like to get it in this spring while we are studying about this. Thanks.

Thanks Danny1649. That is the tour we want. Hopefully it will still be offered once Soarin opens.

I want to do this in May. This isn't something you reserve in advance, right? You just sign up for it that day. -Steph

They haven't been doing the tour since they started building Soarin. Hopefully once Soarin and the Land pavilion open up they will resume the tour. I did it several times and loved it.

Hi safetymom!

I have a couple of questions . . . first, where did you get those cool Mickey scissors? I would love to get a pair! Who makes them?

Also, I am not in the loop on why there was a wall around the Castle. Is it due to the celebration coming up?

Thanks!

You can get the scissors at the scrapbooking store in DTD. Also most of the stores in the parks have them. Also available in a lot of the resort gift shops and World of Disney.

The walls aren't around the castle but where around the hub. They redid the area for the new stage show and 50th celebration.
