am I the only person who could not make it thru this movie? well, I guess dh couldn't, either, but anyone else? we rented it last night and thought it was awful. does it get better? we stopped it finally not long after he found the book that she had left behind at the train station.

Awww... I actually liked this movie! But then I like any movie that Keanu is in.

I enjoyed the movie. Maybe you have to be in a certain mood for it.

I'll admit, it was just a little bit slow...

I watched the whole thing, but I never did quite "get it". I was confused throughout the whole movie. :confused3

I've heard both positive and negative things about this movie although I haven't seen it yet. Guess I'll rent it this weekend.

I didn't understand all of it but I didn't think it was that bad. But then my attention span is fading. I just let alot of movies play in the background while I'm on the computer. Lately, DH says that's my viewing style. I've seen/heard worse. ;)

I only watch movies with happy endings. Haven't heard if this one does so I haven't watched it yet.

It was OK. I like Sandra Bullock, so I think I was forgiving. It was not great. Not written as good as it could have been (When will they let ME do the writing????) but it wasnt the worst I've seen either. If you expect it to make perfect sense... it just isnt going to. If you already paid for the rental, finish it tonight. The ending is where it wraps up, of course.

it wasn't so much the storyline (although we were kind of ??? about it), a lot of our problem was the actual dialogue. I think we turned it off after we stopped laughing when he was describing seeing her on the train...that she had dark hair and guarded eyes or somethink like that. I don't know, it all just felt like a really bad romance novel.

I liked it, but it did move slow. I had to stick with it though to make sure that it had a happy ending, and it did. I think they should have cut all the garbage going on with Keanu and his dad/brother. It was unecessary and just made the movie longer.

I loved it. I went to see it alone in the theater because dh hates love stories with a passion! (Pun not intentional.)

The end makes the movie. I decide if I like a movie purely based on the ending. Happpppy is good. For instance, I was following closely and somewhat enjoying The Departed, right up until the hero gets shot. Goodnight, the end. I didn't watch anymore after they killed off Leo. It just lost my interest. Real life can be painful and stressful; I want fiction and joy in movies.

Aaarrggghhh! I didn't see this yet. :sad2:

I loved this movie! I made my DS11 go see it with me so I wouldn't have to go alone and he liked it too.
