I am not sure what this is and I have been to WDW many times. Please enlighten me. I am always eager to learn more about WDW.

No, but they are no longer at EPCOT. We were there in August (5 days) and October (14 days) and they seem to be gone now. We even looked for their stage and it's gone too. Unless they are on a long extended vacation, seems their tour ended.

I have heard that their contract wasn't renewed.

Dan, thank you for the sad information. I would have spent my day looking for them. They did a fantastic show and I was looking forward to seeing them again.

Yes, if there is a similar act, that would be nice to know. I wonder if enough people said something to the "Ears that Be", would they consider bringing them back - this is assuming that the Kristos didn't simply retire.

There were two groups that I loved who didn't get their contracts renewed: Kristos & a Kenyan group called Karuka Acrobats at the Animal Kingdom. They stopped performing at the end of September.

If you go to and click on "Epcot" and then choose "Archive" from the list on the left (towards the bottom) you can click on the the word "Kristos" and see photos.

I just ordered my free park maps on the Disney site last night and the Kristos were an attraction on the EPCOT map, so maybe they aren't gone.

They were not there when we were last month, however, in a recent thread with photos of the parks with little or no people, there was one shot in Epcot that had the Kristos' stage and showtime sign in the foreground - I'm almost certain there was a date of Sept. '06 on the photo.
