We registered (free) with The Knot, set up our preliminary guest list months ago and have been making changes/additions/deletions to it occasionally. Now that we're printing up invitations (printed, actually) with the website for our Knot webpage on there so they can RSVP online if they'd like, I'm finding all kinds of problems with the RSVP. I've had to go through and attempt to RSVP for each and every guest to find out what's going on.
It seems to only look at the initial list that was entered, and isn't looking at any of the changes that were made. So this is that's happening:
- A "Jon" that was changed to "Jonathan" isn't found when you try to RSVP.
- In cases where I put say "girlfriend" as a placeholder because I knew that person X would be bringing someone who's name I didn't know, and then later put in the correct name: when person X puts in his name to RSVP it still shows "girlfriend" instead of the corrected name.
- someone that I dropped from the list (just not enough room), if I put her name in the RSVP section it will still pull up her name and allow her to RSVP.
All in all, of the 67 separate invitations I have going out, there are problems RSVPing for 38 of them! I emailed "feedback" on the weekend but haven't heard from them yet. I can't seem to find a tech support form on there at all.
