The KITTENS ~ **latest PICS pg 19 (9/11)**

Awhhh, PAW, those kittens are just too cute. Thank you for taking such good care of momma kitty and thank you for posting the pictures.

I've always been a "dog" person - but they sure are cute! Good Luck!! :flower:

OMG! They are too cute. So glad it isn't me - I don't know if I would be able to give them away. ;)

Was just wondering how the first day was with the new kittens? Hope all is still well :flower:

***Another update***

I got a closer look at the little ones, some observations:

I have found that there are 3 females and 5 males (almost positively, lol)

The girls are: 2 tortoise (tri-colored, like mom) and 1 all black

The males are: 2 orange tabbies, 2 black and white and one black/grey tabby (striped).

They are doing really well, the one black and white male is extremely forceful with his siblings when trying to nurse.

Some name ideas so far:

Orange tabby with small nose- 'Pooh'
Orange tabby with bigger nose- 'Tigger'
forceful, black and white male- 'Rabbit'
Black and white with white tipped tail- 'Roo'
All black girl- 'Kanga' (these two seem to snuggle together alot)
Black/grey tabby- 'Eeyore'
Tortie with white patch on one eye- 'Owl'
Tortie that looks the most like mom- 'Piglet'

Thanks for the update. Watch the more aggressive one though, he will keep the smaller ones away. Good luck! :love2: :grouphug:

I will be keeping a close eye on him, LOL. Ironically, he was one of the smallest ones (by weight) when born...I guess he has lots of attitude.

Also wanted to add, they all have been gaining weight and are close to the same now. The biggest ones gained slightly, but all of the others are catching up.

I will just monitor it daily to see what pattern there is.

Wow I can't believe your cat had eight kittens, that must be some kind of record. Many years ago my mother had a tortie persian that had seven and we thought that was unheard of. I'm glad that all of them seem to be doing well, and I must say that they are very big and healthy looking for such a large litter. My red persian had her first litter three weeks ago, and she had such a hard time with just three tiny ones ( she was in labor for over 12 hours). But anyway, they are gorgeous babies and good luck litter training them all LoL!

Cute names. I wish you could ship one (on the airplane) to San Francisco when they are older, they are so adorable.

They are adorable. Congratulations and keep up the good work. :)

Too cute...Makes me want a kitten again.

My 2 fur-babies are turning 13 on the 22nd of this month, so it has been a long time since I had kittens...

Thank you for taking care of her and her litter. :flower:

PhotobearSam here using DH's computer... :badpc:

**Ahem** might it be time for more pictures??? :maleficen

As for litterbox training, I was SO worried about that with our rescue kittens. It only took them a day to master the box, and they didn't have a mama cat here to teach them. I think that these 8 will do just fine with mama there to lead the way :goodvibes

Continued great news about the kitties! I love the names.

And to go a bit OT, Icebrat, your doggy is soooo cute!!! :flower:

I'm glad to hear they are doing so well :flower:

I believe I detect a theme...

They're adorable. I have an old pound kitty that looks exactly like Mama.
