I saw a thread in this on this board about a place that brings you ALOT of ketchup when you ask for it. WHAT is the name of it? I'm going to take my family there but I am not going to tell the "secret" about the ketchup:rolleyes1

Whispering Canyon but along with all the ketchup you also get rude waitresses yelling at you. It was our worst meal at WDW ever!:sad2:

You really have to be able to get "into it" at Whispering Canyon. I'm looking forward to this restaurant the most because my family really like the interaction kind of meals. I'm not too worried about rude wait staff (although the rudeness is part of the act), I can give it as good as I get it :lmao:

you'll want to go for dinner only and make sure you're seated in the main room.

the full name is Whispering Canyon Cafe (check the irony) and it's located at the Wilderness Lodge

OHHHH. Sorry you didn't have a good experience. I don't think my husband and kids would like the yelling part so I guess we will pass.:D

Oh I see. There was or still is a place like that here in Milw. I haven't been there though. :lol I think this type of "services" started in Chicago. :confused3

i don't think there's actual yelling per se. it's just a lot of sarcasm and rudeness in a joking matter. servers may throw napkins down at the table. it's just overly rambunctious. lots of activities for the kids too.

Okay, well, sounds like a place for me then!:rotfl2: What types of activities for the kids and for what ages? Our kids are going to be 18,15 and8 when we go. :D

I still can't decide if we want to try this place or not... not sure if my husband would be into it

okay, 18, 15 and 8 might be a tad old for the marketed audience here... the 8 year old might appreciate it more depending on their sense of humor, but.. they have organized pony trots around the restaurant (on little stick ponies), they do things like the hokey pokey, etc. the food's decent though.

Going a little off topic...what's the name of the place in Milwaukee? DH is originally from there and we need something new to do when visiting MIL.

Thanks for the information:thumbsup2 Although I would LOVE to see my 18 and 15 yo on stick ponies running around.:rolleyes1 :lmao: The way my 15 yo thinks, he would probably do it!:rotfl2:

Is there a list anywhere of all the things that will set off the antics? I'm usually not into places like this, but what the heck, I made ADRs for it in November and I'm not telling my family about what they do. Muwhahaha

Okay. It is called Ed Debevics. What are you looking to do?? I could help ya with some of that!:) You should go and see a Brewer game(there are doing really good I should add). Miller Park is super cool.
