Has this happened to you yet?

A week and a half ago, it said 4355. I've done nothing but ride.
And what do I have to show for it? A big, fat nothing!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Looks like I am back to pirates... :rolleyes1

I didn't know that the Fantasyland Courtyard would turn out to be a huge Con. Get people addicted to riding for pins, but do it in small credit increments, so they don't notice or think much about spending such a little amount.

Then like that! You're hit with poverty.

VMK should have a message that says "You have ridden 200 times without winning a Sword in the Stone magic, and have spent 2000 credits. Just letting you know."

So, it's kinda like the Winning Message in Pirates, except not. ;)

I have since given up on the Fantasyland rides, with hopes that if I save my credits, there will be "boat-loads" of new Pirate items out in a week.

Fantasyland Pin? Pirate stuff? :confused3

Choices...

I keep a chart with how many credits I have weekly. When updating it yesterday I noticed that it was MUCH lower compared to last week than it should have been. (Yes, I have played games to compensate, but I play games every week.)

The rides are burning quite a hole. :( You just dont notice how much water you are losing from the faucet when it is only a couple of drips at a time.

Omg! I just checked mine...I have spend 10,000 credits and all i have is one teacup pin! This is truely nutso!

Umm...You can't play pirates without having more credits first. ;)

I got lucky with the Tea Cup pin. I only rode 115 time spending 1150 credits and managed to get it.

So far for the Casey Jr pin, I've only ridden 27 times. I still haven't gotten it yet.

Ive used 47 sword pins.

That gosh darn Casey Jr. pin still eludes me.

Awww, I would cry if I my credits ever got that low! I think you need to play some serious friendly flag today to boost that back up again! :thumbsup2

I've been lucky enough to get 2 Casey Jr. pins so far (already gave one away). If I manage to get another, it's all yours! :goodvibes

Some people get all the luck :p

I never let my credits go past a certain point. If they do, I play games before I let myself go riding. pirate:

My strategy for riding is: ride three times then go play a song. That way you only lose 5 credits for each set of three rides. THis way I don't lose that many credits

If you crash one of Ned's boats after playing that song it will only take a minute and you will be 15 credits ahead.;)

Cteddies, luckily I hadn't visited the NPC's yet. A quick visit to Yeti fixed my issue... with a credit to spare! ;)

Of course, the first game I play I end up with a key. Thank goodness I still got the credits!

I usually try to not let my credits go below 10,000 and I start rebuilding at 15,000. But, I've simply been too busy to play any games. I'm in to buy the special or jump in the host line, say hi to a friend or two, and then I'm back out again.

Thankfully, summer is around the corner. As soon as I get past finals and graduation, I'll be able to maintain my credits!

Now, just to get through the month of May...

In the last two days, I've run two characters through the Fantasyland rides, getting a total of 27 sword pins. When the credits on these two run out, I'll switch up two different characters and run 'em dry too. Do ya think any of the sword pins were winners? Nope! I have a feeling this circus train pin is more difficult to get than the teacup pin.

Yup, those are both good strategies. Or one game of Capture the Flag, even if you lose, can give you some quick "dark ride cash" that will last you for several rides.

Somehow I don't feel the drain on my wallet so much if it's not on my main character!

I did this for a while, but now I use my main in "afk" mode; minimizing the window while I read the forums in another. (I have found some truth to the theory that "a watched pot never boils"! ;)) I keep an eye on the clock and make a habit of getting more credits every 15 minutes. Then, even if I don't win anything, I'm a little ahead.
