Happy birthday to your daughter!

It was very nice to have the extra space and thanks for the birthday wishes she was up early waiting to open her presents.:goodvibes

Happy Birthday Violet !!

The hotel rooms looks great ! While I like staying onsite I don't think I would mind staying at a timeshare either. You get so much more room and many times they are much cheaper !

Great place! The best part is the 2 bathrooms! My family always has 2 bathrooms at our condo when we go to Florida. When we go elsewhere and just stay at a hotel with 1 bathroom ... oh man ... it's so difficult!

And I like how you have a picture of the squirrel. I thought it was just me who took pictures of squirrels at Disney! I see squirrels every single day while going to work, but a squirrel at WDW is wayyy more special.

:bday: to Violet!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, she had a great day
Happy Birthday Violet!

Keep going with your TR!
Thanks, I will as soon as snapfish uploads my waterpark pictures;)

We have gotten so spoiled with our timeshare, we trade for one on every trip and it is so much better than a hotel room

I take pictures of all kinds of animals on vacation, we have a picture of a bunny and ducks we saw at the Wilderness Lodge too. :rotfl:

We took Violet out to dinner last night and had fun except dh and I were so tired and jackjack was attacking Dash through most of dinner.:sad2: I don't think dh and I have adjusted to the time difference yet, we are falling asleep early and waking up early.

Snapfish got my underwater camera so the pictures should be available today. Which means I should be able to get my day at Blizzard Beach done today too. :goodvibes

Sunday April 27: Blizzard Beach
Today is finally our first day to play! Our original plan had been to go to Blizzard Beach this day so we decided to stick with it. We got up got our stuff together and headed out the door. JackJack kept talking about swimming in big puddles and baby puddles. For some reason he has now decided that swimming pools are called puddles. :confused3 We ate breakfast at the Golden Corral, we thought it was pretty good, I loved their hashbrowns and little waffles. The girls loved that there was ice cream available especially the orange sherbet. They had an omelette bar but the line was long so we decided to skip it. This is where we had our first brush with the dreaded Brazilian tour groups. We noticed that they were in the restaraunt and they weren't doing anything annoying, but then we noticed them at the ice cream area where they had toppings out for the ice cream. Toppings like gummy bears and m&m's. Toppings that seemed to be filling their pockets:sad2:
We finished our breakfast and headed to BB. We were so excited to see the WDW sign.
IMG_2110.jpg

I was hoping to make it by 10 for rope drop, but we didn't, we got there about 10:20 and headed strait for Tikes Peak (the little kid's area) and luckily found us a spot in the shade. DH left with the girls to hit the big slides. I took JackJack to the changing room to get his swim diaper and shorts on him and to put my swim suit on. I didn't feel like I could wear mine to breakfast, even under my clothes:rolleyes1 Then I went and bought my refillable mug and filled it up with diet coke. JackJack and I made our way back to our chair and then off to play in the kid area. He loved it. Here is my only complaint about BB, the little kid area has 3 bigger slides for the little ones and not a single one can you leave them at the top and make it to the bottom before they do. One of them you have to walk all the way around the whole area to get to the bottom of the slide and you can't see your child the whole time. There is also an area with 4 small slides, so you can basically stand in one spot and watch them play on these slides. They are pretty small though so most kids by 4 probably won't want to do them. He played on these little ones most of the morning. He went down each of the bigger slides once and by that time dh and the girls are back.

Violet and gone down slushgusher but didn't like it, Dash wasn't tall enough to do the big slides so all three went down teamboat springs. The girls played in the little kids area for a little bit

Then we all went off to teamboat springs. I got my workout climbing those stairs to get to it too:faint: It was a fun ride, we got done and jack jack said it was scary but about 2 minutes later he wanted to do it again. :woohoo: The girls went off to play in the ski patrol training camp, they had some tube slides and a zip line. The girls had a great time there.

DH went off to do summit plummit and I took jack jack back to the kids area and then we went and got some more to drink. DH got back, loved the ride and we all went to do the lazy river. It was great, jackjack floated on his own little tube and didn't want us to touch him. After floating the whole circle DH went off to get us a garbage pail for lunch. We're on vacation we can have ice cream for lunch :goodvibes
garbagepail.jpg

Oh my gosh, this thing was great. On the bottom was strawberry topping, then ice cream, then sprinkles (a bit much on the sprinkles though), ice cream, oreo pieces, ice cream, waffle cone pieces, ice cream, hot fudge, and whipped cream. We finished that off and I went and washed the pail out for jackjack to play with.

DH took the girls off again to do the purple slope which has mats you lay on to go down, one has like 6 lanes and you race each other. They came back and loved them and wanted to me go do it. I should add here that I am not a huge water slide fan. I don't know if it is because I wear contacts and am paranoid about getting water in my face or what, but I dont' do a lot of the slides, I come here because my family loves them. So off I went to certain doom  First we did the snow stormers and right as we took off my watch band caught on the edge and came undone (it is velcro) It was still around my wrist but I wasn't sure how long it would stay on. Right as the mat came out of the slide into the pool area my watch came off and I was able to grab it before it went to the bottom of the pool. It was actually a fun ride and no water in the face. Then we went off to the tobaggan racers, again, it was pretty fun and no water in my face:woohoo: We went back to meet up with dh and realized we hadn't done the red slope yet so we all headed over there. Dash and I grabbed a double tube and Violet got a single and dh and jackjack went to the observation area to watch. We didnt' realize that the singles could only go in the enclosed tube, Violet was a little nervous about doing it. She had decided she didn't like the enclosed tubes because it was dark. She braved it and went anyway and Dash and I on our double went down the open tube. Right was we came off the slide, our tube flipped over and dumped us both in the water. Dash can't swim yet so I grabbed her and pulled her up. Slide was fun, flipping over=water in face, not fun) Now dh takes Violet up on the doulbe and the rest of us watch, then dh takes Dash. We all head to the chairlift now and take that up to do the teamboat springs again. Lots of fun, Jackjack loved it. We went on the lazy river again and then jackjack and I spent the rest of the time playing in the sand by the chair and the girls went off with dh to the purple slope I think. JackJack and I did go get some popcorn he had been wanting some since I got my mug earlier. The guy that was working gave him a cup of lemonade to since the popcorn would make him thirsty:goodvibes At 5pm they make the announcement that they are closing and I change jackjack back into his regular clothes and pack stuff up as I wait for my famliy to return. They finally show up and we head out of there, Jackjack is asleep before we are even out of the park. Here he is back at our room.
IMG_2112.jpg

We get back to our room, shower and change and then headed to Bahama Breeze for dinner. This was one of our favorite meals, I had calypso shrimp linguine and it was delicious. The favorite part of the meal was the drinks though, Violet got what was called a Mango Mango Man, some frozen mango drink on the kids menu and she talked about it for the rest of the trip. DH and I got one of their specialties which was like a pina colada with strawberry layers, yum! We went back and got ready for bed, Jackjack wasn't ready though because he had just woken up from his nap:sad2: We ended up bringing him to bed with us so we wouldn't be up all night.
As you can see we got a ton of stuff done, it wasn't that crowded at all and we hardly had to wait in any lines. We couldn't have asked for a much better day. :lovestruc
Sorry about the picture quality, those disposable cameras aren't very good. Maybe one day I will get me a waterproof digital camera. I would love that, but I'm not holding my breath that it will happen.
Next up: the Incredibles meet the Incredibles

I am loving your report :lovestruc You hardly ever get to see pictures of the water parks ! On our very first trip to DW we did blizzard Beach and loved it. Our son was only 5 so we didn't get to do the entire park but we liked it just the same !

The picture of jack jack is so funny :rotfl: Poor guy !
Can't wait to read more !

When we get our photopass pictures back we will have some more, the photographers are all over the kids area and they took quite a few of the kids. I can't wait to see them.

Monday April 28-DHS
I was bound and determined to make rope drop so I got up, got ready, got the kids ready and waited for dh to get himself ready. If he would let me get him ready we would be on time all the time, but since he won't let me we have a tendincy to be late.:rotfl: We headed out the door and had breakfast at Golden Corral again, pretty much the same, Violet loved having steak for breakfast.:) They had some really good watermelon today. JackJack saw a baby in a highchair near us and wanted to go "hold the baby and pet the baby" I had to stop him as most people don't like strangers petting their babies:laughing: We finished and headed out the door, got to DHS, parked and rode the tram to the entrance which we arrived at at 9:05, almost made rope drop. We went immediately to Rockin Rollercoaster, Violet and I went on it first and dh was going to go get fast passes for Tower of Terror.
IMG_2114.jpg
The wait time was about 20 min and we loved it! Then dh took Dash and used the rider switch and they got on pretty quick, although Dash was measured 3 times before the ride. I had to go back and get fastpasses for Tower of Terror because dh needed a fastpass refresher and only got 1 fastpass instead of 4 fastpasses. While we were waiting Violet played pattycake with Jack Jack, they looked so sweet I had to take a picture.
IMG_2116.jpg

IMG_2117.jpg

DH and Dash got done with the ride and we had to wait a bit until our TT fastpass time so we headed off to the great movie ride. On the way we passed a cart selling the spraybottle fans and JackJack threw a fit because he wanted one. We managed to get awy and get to the ride, it was a walk on, no wait. It was enjoyable but probably not something we would do everytime we came.
IMG_2119.jpg

We saw lots of characters near the hat when we were walking by but we hadn't gotten our autograph books yet. We were heading back to Tower of Terror and I was going to ride with the girls and dh was going to get the babypass and then go buy the autograph books.
IMG_2118.jpg

We loved Tower of Terror, the Dash thought the movie beforehand was a little scary though. We walked off and dh had found a nice place in the shade to sit and jackjack was asleep in the stroller.
IMG_2120.jpg

DH went with the girls to ride and in a few minutes they were back and he said the fp line was pretty long and I told him it goes fast and jackjack was asleep so he might as well go now. So they went back and got in line, not long after I heard an announcement that they were having difficulty with one of the elevators and the wait was going to be longer than expected. I figured dh would come back but he didn't they waited it out. While I was waiting I decided to take a few pictures of the flowers above me, I thought they were pretty with the palm tree behind them.

IMG_2122.jpg

IMG_2123.jpg

JackJack woke up right as they got done so we headed over to meet the Incredibles. We walked through the animation gift shop and the first person we see on the other side is Frozone, the line wasn't very long either.:woohoo: We got lots of comments about our Incredibles shirts. JackJack is normally not very cooperative in pictures but I was very impressed with him when we met Frozone.
IMG_2129.jpg

Then we went downstairs to meet Mickey Mouse, JackJack was very excited, he loves Mickey. The line moved pretty quickly and it was finally our turn.
IMG_2130.jpg

IMG_2136.jpg

Mickey saw Dash's shirt and wanted to race her.
IMG_2138.jpg

IMG_2139.jpg

Mickey was a lot of fun and really spent time interacting with the kids, it was great.
IMG_2141.jpg

After we were done with Mickey we noticed that Frozone was gone and Mr. and Mrs. Incredible were out now. We headed up and got in line again, again it was a short line. Mr. and Mrs. Incredible loved our shirts and made quite a big deal about them. JackJack was now being uncooperative so I ended up holding him so you couldn't really see my shirt or Jack Jack's
IMG_2144.jpg

If you didn't read my pretrip here is a picture of our shirts.
IMG_1874.jpg

IMG_1873.jpg

Next we went to see Voyage of Little Mermaide, we had grabbed a FP for this but we really didn't need to. The kids really liked this, even JackJack sat and watched it. After this we decided to head back to our room and take a break. On the way out dh and violet had some fun.

Cont. in next post

We had our leftovers from dinner for lunch. DH and I sat out on our patio to eat and look at our afternoon plans. The girls watched tv and JackJack just ran around playing with everything. Then we all went swimming. We came back got dressed and headed back to the parks. We went first to meet the Little Einsteins, Quincy and June were out.
IMG_2166.jpg

IMG_2167.jpg

IMG_2168.jpg

Then we went in to watch Playhouse Disney Live. JackJack loved it.
IMG_2181.jpg

When we left Leo and Annie were out so we got in line but right before we got up they left and Quincy and June came back so we got out of line and went over to Handy Manny. DH went to get fast passes for Rockin Roller coaster.
IMG_2193.jpg

IMG_2196.jpg

Then we headed to star tours, DH went on first with the girls. On star Tours to do the rider switch every one goes in and the person waiting with the baby stands outside of the room and when their ride is done, the girls stayed in their seats and I took JackJack in and gave him to dh who then exited with him. This ride is all right, not my favorite, the girls liked it though. Here is a fun shot we took on our walk over.
IMG_2198.jpg

We were getting hungry so dh went to get us some food, he got a turkey leg for him and Violet, a pulled pork sandwich for me and a hotdog for Dash. The turkey leg was really good, the pork sandwich was pretty good too. We finished up and went to ride RR. I went with the girls first, they decided they could sit together and I sat behind them, then dh went on with them. Then the girls and I did TT again. There were some college age girls that looked like they were trying to make their younger brother go on it he was probably 11 or so, and he was freaking out, he ended up not going on it though. DH didn't want to go again that night so after we got off we were ready to head home. DH bought the girls some ice cream and I took a pictures of the park at night.
IMG_2201.jpg

IMG_2202.jpg

We rode the tram back to our car and Dash decided she was done with her ice cream and handed it to me. Well at this point most of the ice cream had melted so when you bit into it the chocolate would break and fall all over my lap, not fun. JackJack had some of it the floor of the tram and my foot had most of it.:sad2: We got to the car and pulled out the baby wipes to clean up. I think JackJack fell asleep on the way home since he had his nap so early.
This was evening emh and I was worried that the park would get crowded in the evening but it really didn't, the lines weren't bad at all. It was another great day.
Next up:Is it close enough to be considered rope drop?

I'm hoping to get the next chapter up later today. Thanks to those who are reading, some of you lurkers should come out and post. :goodvibes

Nice update! We went to Blizzard Beach a couple of times but haven't been there in many years. All I know is that it was a lot of fun and I'd love to go back again someday. Can't wait for more!
