Hi,
Well that time has come to start my PTR.
A little background
I was not meant to be going on this trip as it was just mum, sis and nephew. they had booked the DLH. I was going in November with DH, DD, DS and MIL staying at the DLH. It is my 30th birthday on the 29th of this month and DH had already given me my present which was a trip that i have not long been off of in July (not sure if you remember). Mum asked me what i wanted for a present this year i jokingly said go to dlp (ok maybe i was not joking
) so she did just that added me to their booking which was surprisingly cheap just £349 for 5 nights/6days including eurostar
.
I have been many times before but have always stayed in the Cheyenne. don't get me wrong i love the Cheyenne but i am very excited to be staying in my dream hotel.
when/where
17th-21st October staying at the DLH
Travelling by Eurostar from Ebsfleet (I really like this station, so quiet and easy)
Cast
Me (Karen) 29 well 30 on the trip. A huge lover of everything Disney and DLRP
Mum (Heather) she will kill me if i put her age
Loves DLP and would live there if she could
Sis (Rachel) 26, been twice before, not as crazy as mum and I but still likes it there.
Nephew (Connor) 3, loves anything toy story and cars.
Plan of Action
As many of you know I am a planner (i feel like i should be standing in a circle right now saying "My name is Karen and I'm a plannerholic" lol) but with all the drama at home right now i have not been so hot on the ball, also as this was not meant to be my trip i don't want to take over. altho i have been told to by the rest of the group lol.
When we get off the Eurostar (and after annoying all the other passengers with the fact i'm staying at the DLH) it's straight to eat (that's if the force of the park does not pull us in lol)
then check in at the DLH (i think by this point i may have fainted by the excitement) I have a feeling it maybe a slow process to get to the park from all the ooooing and ahhhhhing. when we usually stay at the Cheyenne it's chuck cases in and go.
Then it's head to Studio's until they chuck us out then off to dlp to look at the halloween decks.
EMH everyday and we won't go back to room until the lights go out the park ha ha.
our must do's are
Meet Buzz for my nephew, lets hope the queue is not aslong as the Rapunzel one was in July.... 2 hours
but worth every minute to see dd face.
ride crush, tot and BTM as much as possible
eat as much as possible (because i can i am on holiday
)oh and drink my weight in the yummy hot chocolate
get my annual crimbo decks
try not to cry and miss family too much.
Halloween bits.
the others have decided on the food bits...
day 1, Annettes
day 2 Rainforest Cafe
day 3 Cafe Mickey
day 4 Annettes again, sis loves it here
day 5 Plaza gardens
i'm so excited i really need something to look forward to right now and by the way did i mention i'm staying at the DLH AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
