Hi,
Well that time has come to start my PTR.
A little background
I was not meant to be going on this trip as it was just mum, sis and nephew. they had booked the DLH. I was going in November with DH, DD, DS and MIL staying at the DLH. It is my 30th birthday on the 29th of this month and DH had already given me my present which was a trip that i have not long been off of in July (not sure if you remember). Mum asked me what i wanted for a present this year i jokingly said go to dlp (ok maybe i was not joking :rotfl2:) so she did just that added me to their booking which was surprisingly cheap just £349 for 5 nights/6days including eurostar :woohoo:.
I have been many times before but have always stayed in the Cheyenne. don't get me wrong i love the Cheyenne but i am very excited to be staying in my dream hotel.

when/where

17th-21st October staying at the DLH :dance3: Travelling by Eurostar from Ebsfleet (I really like this station, so quiet and easy)

Cast

Me (Karen) 29 well 30 on the trip. A huge lover of everything Disney and DLRP
Mum (Heather) she will kill me if i put her age :rotfl: Loves DLP and would live there if she could
Sis (Rachel) 26, been twice before, not as crazy as mum and I but still likes it there.
Nephew (Connor) 3, loves anything toy story and cars.

Plan of Action
As many of you know I am a planner (i feel like i should be standing in a circle right now saying "My name is Karen and I'm a plannerholic" lol) but with all the drama at home right now i have not been so hot on the ball, also as this was not meant to be my trip i don't want to take over. altho i have been told to by the rest of the group lol.

When we get off the Eurostar (and after annoying all the other passengers with the fact i'm staying at the DLH) it's straight to eat (that's if the force of the park does not pull us in lol)
then check in at the DLH (i think by this point i may have fainted by the excitement) I have a feeling it maybe a slow process to get to the park from all the ooooing and ahhhhhing. when we usually stay at the Cheyenne it's chuck cases in and go.
Then it's head to Studio's until they chuck us out then off to dlp to look at the halloween decks.
EMH everyday and we won't go back to room until the lights go out the park ha ha.
our must do's are
Meet Buzz for my nephew, lets hope the queue is not aslong as the Rapunzel one was in July.... 2 hours :scared1: but worth every minute to see dd face.
ride crush, tot and BTM as much as possible
eat as much as possible (because i can i am on holiday :yay:)oh and drink my weight in the yummy hot chocolate
get my annual crimbo decks
try not to cry and miss family too much.
Halloween bits.

the others have decided on the food bits...
day 1, Annettes
day 2 Rainforest Cafe
day 3 Cafe Mickey
day 4 Annettes again, sis loves it here
day 5 Plaza gardens

i'm so excited i really need something to look forward to right now and by the way did i mention i'm staying at the DLH AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH :yay::dance3::cool1::cheer2:

I think you may have done ..... once or twice ;) :rotfl: :rotfl2:

What a fantastic time you're going to have - I can assure you that there is nowhere better to celebrate a birthday than on Disney soil. ::yes::

Oooooooh Im looking forward to this TR!!! Cannot wait to hear every single detail and see all the lovely pics! :yay:
Did you say your staying at the DLH?? :rotfl2:

Lucky girl :cool1:

And may I just add, "My name is Kizzy and I too am a plannerholic"

Thanks guys and you can be sure of that full TR lol :rotfl2:

Kizzy the first step is admitting it, or so i'm told lol :rotfl::lmao::rotfl2:

You and me Karen, Im telling ya its the start of a beautiful self help group!!
Less then a month, tell us hows the planning coming along?

Ha ha kizzabel :lmao:
Planning is coming along slowly as I don't have as much time now as i used to, now i'm full time carer for MIL. We are waititng to see how tall my nephew is as he is borderline height for BTM etc. but i'm sure their measure stick is taller than the height restriction as when we went in July dd was way over the height restriction but when she got measured by a cm she was just a little over :confused3.
As we have not seen halloween decks before i think this may slow us down then normal, like it did last November with all the Christmas decks. Not long now before your trip

An awesome trip is in the planning, hope you have a fab time:goodvibes

Well it's been an eventful few days...
We had a thought on Sunday, we have not had our Eurostar tickets yet and we have always had them about 3 weeks before, so we called the TA to be told that my mums and my sisters ticket was there but mine was not :confused3. so they called Disney to get them to re issue a new one they blamed Eurostar saying they lost it. :scared1: they told us it would be here in a couple of days, but as usual nothing came. so the ta called again to be told it could take upto 10 working days which is no good to us as we go before then. We asked what would happen if it does not come and all we got was an "oh well it should do" :headache: by now i was starting to get stressed. I called ta again today and was told that they had there post and nothing there :sad1:. :furious: Later we had a phone call to say they had come in the post today :confused3 so we double checked everything and phew so far so good but we still have to collect them yet and check it ourselves..... So yay looks like I will be going after all (i'm convinced DH has jinxed it as he is not going :lmao:)
