We have our moments

I had a win today, went and had my car serviced, quoted $285 last week when I rang up.
They had a mixup and didn't put my car in at the right time and it took an hour longer than it should have, and they only charged me $216

Hey, the look on the guys face when he was telling me I thought he was going to say they'd smashed my car or something, and I was like "oh, is that all?"

Off to pick the little one up from school, i'll have another walk, walked to the shops from the dealership this morning, 20 minutes each way, then around the shops, lots of moving today

and really, its not like you to poke the bear is it .......we just dont seem to be able to play nicely with the other boards, tad like shooting fish in a barrel.

I can't get Steggles Chicken Kiev ANYWHERE!

I've just emailed the company, no other chicken kiev will do, even my DH specifically requests this one...

Why does this happen when it's what is requested for dinner??

I could be entirely tasteless and say that they are planning on replacing the Chernobyl chook with Fugoshima Fish....but that would really be tasteless. really. tasteless.

Have you tried the Leonards chicken kiev. It's fresh, not frozen, but you could freeze them. They are really good

ok. majorly, majorly pi$$ed off right now. majorly.

i was originally going to finish up august 10th. then cause i was sick on the weekend, i spoke with my bosses and they agreed to me finishing up this friday.

went to work wednesday and wasn't feeling the greatest, and they were like, look, why don't you just finish up as of yesterday (tuesday) and just go home and chillax and start healing without worrying about work... so i said sure.

i officially finished up on tuesday, and i said goodbye to all my work friends, and i have been at home feeling unloved and unwanted for the last 2 days.

just checked my bank account for my termination pay, plus regular wages for the last fortnight, and they have underpaid me by like $2500.



a politely worded email to my boss to please investigate, as i have print outs from our payroll system dated 2 days ago detailing the # of hours of annual & long service leave that should have been paid out, plus my regular wages = approx $2500 more than i got.

i mean, it's not the end of the world. but it's a decent amount of money, and it would be nice to at least get what was owed to me, you know??



just had a big fight with carlo over the phone, and just paid the whopping electricity bill, the loan payment and now feel completely broke...

oh, and broke my little toe falling down the stairs this morning.

what a $hit day.
