Busy night. I was on the phone with my mom for a bit, then watched Survivor.

There was a DIS thread a week or two ago, asking Southerners if they really called the male head of the household "Big Daddy", like they did in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Some folks said they did indeed.

Aww...sorry to hear that Mikalah is not feeling well. I had a stomach ache yesterday and took 2 charcoal pills and it went away. I'm not sure why but if I drink a pina colada smoothie from the Ebar at Nordstrom, my stomach will hurt. It happend twice and at 2 different Nordstrom locations. I'm not sure what's causing it....maybe something in the powder mix?

Sorry... You might want to stop drinking them. Whne I lived in Germany, every time I ate curry wurst, I would puke into my blanket in the middle of the night. After the third or fourth time of taking my comforter to the cleaners... my mom suggested I STOP eating the curry wurst. But it was SO good.

That's not good! How awful!


I don't know what they put in it...I saw one that had what looked like coconut sherbet and frozen pineapple chunks. I'm not sure if they added anything else. Either way, I'm not sure why it would cause a stomach ache.

I had the Aloha Pineapple at Jamba Juice and I never got sick from that.

We went to Fred Meyer tonight, intending to get DS8 his Halloween costume. He'd seen something when he went grocery shopping Sunday with DH. I asked him why they didn't just get it then, and he said he didn't mention it to Daddy.

Anyway, so we had these "reward" coupons that had to be used up by the 25th (two $10 ones and a $9.50 one, and they can't be used together.) Fine, so I used one to get DS4 some jeans, I think DH used one on the groceries, and we'd use the third on the costume tonight.

DS8's "costume" turned out to be a creepy hooded mask.
He begged. Fine, there's your costume. Then DS4 saw a glow-in-the-dark skeleton costume. He begged and begged. I said, "I thought you wanted to be Yu-Gi-Oh!"

"Nooooo! I want dis!"
"What do you want to wear for Halloween? Yu-Gi-Oh or this?"
"Yu-Gi-Oh!"
"Fine." I put the costume back.
"Nooooo! I want dis!"

"DS4, you said you want to be Yu-Gi-Oh for Halloween! Do you want to be Yu-Gi-Oh or this?"
"Dis!"

Yes. I did. I know, I'm a dork. But at least that's done.

Every day, Alex comes home and tells me how many more days we have until Halloween. He is so excited. Me TOO! I cant WAIT to eat their candy!!!
