The HOT SEAT

Dw made it to the hot seat last week while at WWTBAM. She reached 125,000 but unfortunately missed the 250,000 question. Shoot, a Disney cruise was 'this' close. Was she ever nervous. Can't believe she even agreed to head on down there. She did a great job. Won some cool prizes and wasn't as nervous as she expected to be.
After her turn in the HOT SEAT, she was recognized 4 different times in the parks in the next couple of days. One little girl was so cute. She was in line near us at Big Thunder the following night and we heard her say to her mom, " Momma, look. It's Jennifer!" My wife looked over and couldn't figure out who they were until the mom explained they were in the audience the day before and that her kids were really rooting for her to win. It was really sweet.

How exciting! Congrats to your DW!

On our last visit to WWTBAM, I had an empty seat next to me, so was playing both of them. I was the highest and secood highest scorer when the person currently in the hot seat missed a question. The kids were all excited, thinking I'd be in the hot seat next, but alas, the game ended at that point!

Congratulations. Getting onto the hot seat is a blast. One reason why your DW may have recognized is that Disney shows rounds of WWTBAM-PI in some of the tvs on property. On one trip my DS had a several girls come up and tell him what a great job he did on the hot seat. They told me that they saw him on tv at a restaraunt. It was really very very cute.

I have been also congratulated several times after being on the hot seat and I do not think that all of the people in question were in the attraction during my turn on the hot seat.

What was the question that you wife missed? Did you know the answer? So far, my DW has known the answer to every question that my DS and I missed on our trips to the hot seat. She has been in the top ten numerous times and number one on the board a couple of times when the show ended. When she gets on, she may go all the way.

Not sure of exact wording but it was something like' What is the word that means"buzzing".

The only two answers I remember are;
A) Asservates
B)Bombinates

unfortunately it ended here. Jen picked 'A' and I was thinking the same thing. The answer was bombinate or bombinates.

DW even got the shirt in my size. Excellent.

That every same thing happened to me. Dh and I were #1 and #2 the whole time and when the lady finally lost I would have been in the hot seat but the game ended... yikes. I'm kind of glad!!
