So how many people are glad the new NHL season is just around the corner? I know I am and even better is RDS is showing the HABS Pens pre season games starting tonight I am now in hockey heaven.

I must be the only Canadian who hates hockey season!!! I can't wait until it is over!!!

Woo Hoo first Leafs pre season game tomorrow and getting ready for my first Hi Def game. Go Leafs Go. I like the new jerseys by the way.

Well teh HABS with a miniscule lineup mostly rooks and hopefulls beat Crosby and most of the roster from last season tonight in OT 3-2 I got to watch it on RDS which by the way will switch to HD on Oct 3rd for all of the HABS home games and 20 of their away games so I am going to get tonnes of HD HABS games this season. BTW what the hell was Maurice thinking guaranteeing the Laffers would make the playoffs and have a good playoff run. If they do make the post season and are out in rd 1 he has prety much kissed his job goodbye although maybe that was his idea from the getgo LOL.

I am going to the Leafs/Coyotes pre-season game this Thursday at the Air Canada Centre and already got tickets for the October 6th game versus Montreal and the October 13th game versus Pittsburgh. :cool1:

GO LEAFS GO

Love that the season is starting again. Just got our tickets in the mail yesterday for the Leafs in Tampa on dec 20th - very excited as never been to a game in Tampa before

OMG I am also going to that game. If you don't mind me asking where are you're seats? My Dad and I are sitting in section 117, row B and he was able to get them off Ticketmaster website.

The only difference is we are picking the tickets at will call, because he was not sure how to get them mailed because it said nothing about mailing to Canadian customers.

I have to vent somewhere --- the Sabres/Penguins Winter Classic outdoor game for January 1 sold out 73,000 tickets in less than 15 minutes, yet they were for sale on eBay before they officially went on sale. I'll get tickets for the game, actually I already do, but how is this even possible?

They were probably all sold to companies like Ticketmaster. You know, the legalized scalpers.

On another hockey related note, anyone up for an old-fashioned hockey pool? Just goals and assists count.

I have set up a Yahoo league if you are interested. The league is called DisCanada (id 53959) and the password is disney. It is set to be an auto-pick draft so the computer will do all the work for you.

All you need is a Yahoo ID to play.
