No comparison. The Ring was a supernatural movie with a few jump moments (but great movie). The Hills Have Eyes could could make you re-think ever going into the desert again.

I told my husband I really never had much of a desire to go to NM before this movie, but now, no way I will.
Bet their tourist bureau loved this film.

I hated the Hills Have Eyes remake. It was just gorey and gross. And predictible.
