The Hideout in PA?

Is anyone familiar with this community in PA? We've been looking at some houses, thinking that it would be a nice vacation/weekend getaway type of place.

I'd love to hear any pros or cons.

Some parts of the Poconos are nice, and some are not. I'd drive up there and visit a few times before buying to see where exactly you are buying property.

I'd definitely visit any community in the Poconos several times, preferably in different seasons, before purchasing. Many start out like gang-busters and fizzle out before reaching their advertised potential leaving those who do purchase with much higher association fees and maintenance fees than originally expected.
