My cousin's middle name is Ariel, but she doesn't pronounce it like you'd think. It's like Arr-e-el.

Drew- a name in past tense since 1996

For my actual name, I either get the American pronunciation or someone who's never seen my name before tries to say it (and it's not spelt how it's pronounced so it's kinda tricky) and they're like "el-lee-an-nor? ellie-anna? el-leah-an-or?" and I'm like "bro it's just like 'ellen' with an 'ah' on the end alright." Also, it gets spelt 'Elena' more often than it gets spelt correctly.

One of my last names is a like normal word but spelt different so it's a name (am I making any sense?) and people always spell it as the word and I'm like no try again.

ohohoho think I win in the mispronounced/misspelt names. I get so much crazy stuff. I-meer, i-mera, ee-mear, ee-mera, the list goes on..

people start spelling it with an a and I'm like 'the hell'
and people always mistake the a in my surname for an e. IT'S AN A FOR GODS SAKE. and when people don't capitalise the G wow it makes me pissed. :')
