For you, what is the hardest food to resist, cut down on or eliminate from your diet? For me it's Pepsi and french fries.

Chocolate and popcorn!! There are others but these two are TOUGH!!

Wow- great question.

I do miss French Fries. Most things I found a substitute for, or eat less if it's something I really like. I found healthier, less fat crackers and lower fat cheese for cheese and crackers.

I was going to say chocolate- but I found a 2 point Mocha Fudge bar by starbucks.

I guess i will say French Fries.

ohhhh, there are sooooo many!

But I guess McDonalds Fries are tuff and GOOD chocolate (like Munsons or Godiva).

And I must say, I am a cookie addict, so that is always tuff to "just say no". The fat free ones are good, but I want 1/2 a box, not 1 or 2!:scared1:

For me, it's any kind of sweets. Cookies, candy, cake, pies--they all call my name! I try not to bring them in the house any more. If they're not there, I can't hear them calling!

But you know the one food that I absolutely cannot buy or bring home?? :guilty: Graham crackers!! They're a perfectly WW friendly food, I just won't stop until I've eaten the WHOLE box!!

Okay I'm glad someone started this thread. I am having Twizzler withdrawals. :( Boy what I would do for a family size bag of Strawberry Twizzlers and I can eat the entire bag by myself. But I want to lose weight more than the indulgance. But I can dream right?

I have to say pizza. If I didn't watch myself, I could eat it at least once or twice a week.

I'd have to say sweets too....I LOVE to bake, cookies, cakes, the whole 9. I am also a sucker for double stuf or mint oreos, and ice cream. Best I've found are the reduced fat oreos/Chips Ahoy, and Healthy Choice ice cream, but I am having baking withdrawals....:(

I'm salivating just reading the posts!!!

But I will add mine, homemade chocolate chip cookie dough and especially when they come right out of the oven and are drippy and gooey!

OH MY!
Tara

I love warm bread with butter, fries, and See's candy!
Really miss it all!

DITTO...........perfectly said

French Fries and Garlic Bread.

I can get my chocolate fix with a sugar free version!

But there is no substitute for warm and toasty garlic bread!

OMG! I just got done with dinner and it was soooo good, but here I find myself salivating over Mexican Food! Most of my lifestyle changes haven't been a problem , but I am addicted to chips, salsa, and just about anything one finds in an American Mexican restaurant! Thank Goodness I'm not doing Atkins, as I could NEVER give up bread.

Keep the Faith!

Oh my goodness there are so many!

Pizza is obvious although I have found a way to work with this. I have 1/2 a big salad from the pizza place, 2 small slices of pizza on thin crust (4 inch squares - st. louis style pizza) and then maybe 2 pieces of just toppings.

Mexican food. Oh yummy nachos and chimichangas. But again I've learned to like fajitas without the tortilla.

I think the hardest thing to give up on a Protein plan for me is Pasta. I love pasta - Lasagna, Broccoli Alfredo, and ravioli are just a few of my favorites.
and Popcorn!

Legal foods like Peanuts are hard for me to keep in the house because I tend to eat more then a serving at a time.

For me it's peanut butter. I can't keep any in the house. Just give me a jar and a spoon and I'm in heaven! (well, not anymore since low carbing). :(

I still don't trust my self control. I would want to eat the whole jar until it was gone.

EEK! :earseek: You wouldn't be talking about Imo's Pizza, would you Amanda?? Oh man! My FAVORITE pizza! We always have to get it (once or twice) when we come home for a visit.
