the hangover?

As said, it's rated 15 in the UK, if that convinces her (probably not...)

I haven't seen the movie, but it doesn't look good to me...

There's no reason why a 15 year old would be too young to see it..
Like, American Pie is a 15 and The Hangover is nothing compared to that.

I love The Hangover.. I watched it with my parents though :p
I watch a lot worse things with them, too xD

15 isn't that far off 17.

I saw it and I am 17. I get your parent's worry because when I was 10 my parents wouldn't even let me watch The Nanny.
It has naked people, drug abuse, and lots of cursing. (The Hangover not The Nanny xD)

Personally I didn't find it all that funny, I think it was way overhyped.

Ahh. rated R means 17+

So I understand why your parents said no, I guess.. idk.

But I'm 16, and I watched it with my boyfriend and four other friends.. it was kinda boring to me.. we didn't even finish it.. stopped about half way through.

I'm 16, and still am not allowed to see R rated movies.

Of course, I don't have any desire to see any R rated movies.

I loved it...Im 17 but I have seen many rated R movies before. I have been watching them since I was like 10 or 11 and I was one of the last ones of my group of friends to see a rated R movie.

You guys are crazy...I loved it

:thumbsup2 I loved it too!!
I was 17 last year when it came out, so I saw it in the theaters. I own it now - it makes me laugh every time I watch it.

I can understand why your parents don't want you to watch it. My parents wouldn't have let me watch it when I was 15, even though I was definitely mature enough for it.

If you can't convince your parents to let you watch it, just wait to watch it when they will let you. The movie isn't going anywhere.

I'm 17 but my parents would not let me watch Step Brothers and most likely would not let me watch the Hangover. Both were my friends' favorite movies.

Then again, I also have no desire to see either of those movies.
I can watch R rated movies, I've seen a few, obviously sweeney todd being one.
I can probably quote half of the hangover though just from going to school.

It was a funny movie. A lot of sexual humor though. If you haven't been exposed to anything like that then it might be too shocking for a 15 year old (or anyone who hasn't been exposed, for that matter). 15 isn't too far off from 17 though and I think that *most* 15 year olds know what all of the stuff happening in the movie is.

This is NOT a movie I would ever want to watch with my mom though.

I watched it with my parents :rotfl:

Nothing worse than what we watch on TV but the only thing awkward still i full-frontal nudity xD

I watch a lot of questionable movies with them.
One of my mom and I's favorite movies is Role Models :D

My 7 and 10 year old cousins watched it with me, haha.
Its really not THAT bad. I mean, theres definitely a lot of cursing, but I'm sure at 15 you've heard it all before. Theres also a little nudity, but not a lot. (it gets kind of bad at the part w/ all the pictures at the end, but you could always just turn it off when the credits start?)

its a hilarious movie. i've been watching rated r movies since i was about 10, but my parents are pretty laid back.

has your mom seen it? maybe if she watched it first she could better judge it and might let you see it?

because she has special mind reading powers :P
dude, use common sense. seriously

So a bunch of kids saw it and told her that it's really funny, and she wants to see it so that she will be able to tell everybody that she saw it, and thusly add to the moral/intellectual/social degradation of humanity?
