You can do that, but they also have character appearance times in the Times Guides.

But do they say who will be meeting & greeting? I know there's things like "meet Mickey and pals at Camp Minnie-Mickey!" or whatever, but they don't really say something like "meet Maleficent between 2:00 and 3:00 at the International Gateway!". I'll just have to hope luck is on my side!

Maybe they take your thoughts into consideration... Like, you ask if a character is going to be out, and then they'll change up the characters going out or something. Really, really, unlikely, but yeah...

That's what was I wondering. I mean, you're introducing a new character just for one day, maybe make it so he only appears during one set throughout the day
