DH- Also 23. Love's hunting and gaming. His last visit to Disney was 15 years ago. He was also really excited to see all the new stuff and old stuff he hasn't seen in a long time.

Day one:
First day came early. The alarm went off at 3am. I had to wake DH up and make sure everything was ready to go. His dad picked us up at 4. We said goodbye to our cat Derby and out the door we went. We arrived at the airport at 4:30 it wasn't too busy there yet. DH got our boarding passes and onto security check we went. I always hate this part of the trip. It always takes so long cause i'm not allowed through the metal detectors. So I have to get a pat down. Once through that it was about 5:00. We headed straight for our gate and waited for a while. They started calling us to board around 5:30ish.

We took off at 6:05 with an hour flight to Washington DC. We both slept until the Pilot said we're going to be landing. Once landed and off the plane we headed to our next gate. Which was all the way across the airport. Seemed like we were walking forever. We finally made it to our gate and I went and got us some food. Finally we boarded around 8:00 am and off to Orlando we went.
We landed at about 10:45 that morning. Got off the plane and headed to Disney's Magical Express. Well we didn't quite find it right off. We went the way the directions said or at least we thought we did. We ended up outside of the airport. I finally went up to a lady that looked like she worked there and asked her how to get the buses. Her reply was "go back inside, go down to the bottom floor and there you will see the balloons and Disney everything!! You can't miss it once down on the bottom floor!"
So back inside we went down to the bottom floor. And there we were greeted by Disney members. There was quite a long line for many of the resorts. Ours felt the longest. We waited about 10 minutes and then they opened the rope and let us onto the Bus.
It seemed like the longest ride of my life. But that was because I was so excited. We watched the video they played on the tv and then through the magical "gate" sign we went.:sohappy:

It wasn't the best picture but I tried real hard to get this pic. I was waiting to see that sign.

Wasn't long after then I saw this

Yay!! We were finally there. We were one of the first ones off the bus. We got our luggage and headed into our resort. There wasn't a long wait until we were able to check in. The cast member was really nice. We had asked for a lake view room. She gave us our "Happy Anniversary buttons and First time buttons. Then "the key to the world".
Once done there we were off to check out how far away our room was and if we got a lake view room!! The walk to our room wasn't that far at all. We were close to the Hippy Dippy Pool, food court & the buses!! YAY
Now it was time to see if we got the one thing we asked for a Lake view. We took the elevator up to the fourth floor. Walked down the hall and this is what we saw...

We got what we wanted!! And it sure was pretty.
We went into our room and put our bags down. We both had to change seeing how it was 80 out and when we left home it was only 40 out. Once changed it was off to our first park ever.
MAGIC KINGDOM. We headed down to our bus stop where we found just a short line. About 5 minutes later the bus came. On we went. The bus ride to MK seemed like it took forever. Maybe because we had never been before. We finally arrived and loaded off the bus.
A short walk to the entrance and this is what we saw

It didn't seem very busy it was about 1 in the afternoon. Once past this we headed to see the most beautiful thing i've seen.

Now that was breath taking. Made me smile ear to ear.:D
Our first stop was to get some food. We hadn't eaten all day. So we went to Casey's corner and got some french fries. We were on the quick service plan so you will see we didn't really eat at the fancy places. The fries were pretty good. Once we got some food into ourselves it was off to explore. We headed toward Tomorrow Land and the first thing we did was Stitch's Great Escape. I never read up on this attraction so didn't really know what to expect. It was a 5 minute wait. And in no time we were in and seated. I didn't really care for this attraction nor did my dh.
Once done in there it was off the to Tomorrowland Transit authority.

We enjoyed that ride a lot. It was relaxing. It was almost 3 when we got off that ride. So we headed back over towards the castle to watch Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade. I loved it.
