The Gross Things you see.....

Not, Gross but I found it very funny. At Animal Kingdom I saw a Mother breastfeeding her baby while being pushed around the park in a double rental stroller. Take about eating on the run.

Okay I have a couple Disney ones. The last time my fiance and I were at Disney (2007) we ate a later dinner at Rainforest Cafe, the one in Downtown Disney. We just sat at the bar and ordered the grilled pizza, I think it was served on a flatbread or something, personal sized. Well, when I started eating mine, it had a loooong hair across it, baked into the cheese. UGH. We told the bartender who apologized and offered to have the kitchen make me another one, but I declined because after that I lost my appetite. I realize hairs in food will happen, but it's still gross when you take a bite and discover a hair in your mouth and baked into your food.

My other one also happened at this same Rainforest Cafe, but a few years earlier, when I was there with my parents and my son, again for a late night dinner (I think they stay open until midnight or something) We were a few of the last customers of the evening, so the staff began to clean up the dining area. We watched the lady clearing the tables around us and setting them for the next day. She had a pile of forks and knives and was putting them on the chairs - not on a plate or napkin or in a bin, just lying on the filthy chairs that everyone's butts are sitting all over after riding a bunch of rides that millions of other butts sat in. She'd put the pile on one chair, set the table, then move the pile to the next chair. How gross, especially for the last table who were lucky enough to get the utensils after they were lying on several different chairs. :crazy2:

uhhhhh did you report this????

Buzz lightyear..stuck in line..trapped and up ahead..some person had an UNDERWEAR blowout..not a diaper blow out an undie one(adult male type undies) :scared1:..and they had taken it off dumped it and the contents on the floor (there was a lot and it was messy wet)and left it there for the rest of us to get past. It was disgusting. I didn't get to see the person commit the crime I was just trapped walking past it while someone tried to let a CM know.

next was at Olivias and my son the puker was the criminal...all over the floor. The CM's did not clean it, they did place a towel over it and were waiting for mousekeeping..those poor folks

same son the puker different trip... got one of the beds at OKW...I cleaned what I could, but it was everywhere, poor mousekeeping had to come give us new sheets and take the nasty ones away. I tipped the poor girl for that

you feel so helpless in those situations..as the one person said, one thing if its "related" puke, totally different if it isn't.

This was not a disney but at walmart.
A couple of weeks ago it had been raining so all the buggies were wet at walmart. I saw a little boy maybe 2 putting his hands in the water on the side of the buggy and then licking his hand. G-R-O-S-S:crazy2:

OK, I was telling my grandma about this gross stuff this morning and she told me about a gross thing, also not Disney but could have been. Years ago after church a bunch of couples went out to lunch. One of the ladies (an older woman, way old enough to know better!) stuck her finger into each of the dressings to taste them!!!!:scared1: My grandma was stunned and told her she should do what she does if she isn't sure about someting, put a dab on the edge of the plate them taste it to decide. She didn't respond and my grandma was so embarassed (not to mention grossed out!) that she never went out to eat with them again. Lovely, huh???

A couple of years ago we were at TL and the family next to us let their son (who was about 9 years old:confused3) poo in the sand:scared1: - they then proceeded to cover it up with the sand!! I was just relieved that they weren't English:rotfl: They packed their stuff up and left (after i had given them a really dirty look!!) I then had to go and find a CM and explain to him what they had done:confused:

That is the saddest video. People are cruel.

I agree. Compassion seems to lack more than excel. :( How hard is it to say, "Excuse me, sir, you have something on the back of your pants." He might have sat in chocolate, or somewhere, and not known. At least give the guy the op to fix it. If he tells you to go away, well, at least you tried.

Okay, I'll bite. We were in one of the dining establishments that has a rather small restroom. There was nothing else nearby either.

A mother came in with ten year old daughter and she threw up all over the sink area and floor. REPEATEDLY. She mostly hit one sink and the counter, so the second sink was still not too bad. but it was all over thesink and most ofhte counter area. Mom wiped it up, but how much can you do with papwer towels.

So as if the odor from the first girl wasn't enough....a another woman was changinng a poopie diaper, and a third mom was assisting her disabled older child in one of the stalls, who was also producing something fragrant. I only mention the fact that she was disabled because the whole thing was narrated loudly, and well, as could be expected it took them a while to get her dressed. There were only two stalls, and a line, so it was a tight sequeeze to fit everyone in, and the line did not move for a while.

It was also a very hot day, and the air movement was minimal.

I notified a CM as soon as I got out about the throw up so it could be properly disinfected.

It's amazing how rude some people can be. Who would video tape this? Couldn't someone pull him aside and let him know? Any why is it necessary to post it on youtube. I feel so bad for that guy :(

To me, the most amazing thing is, you can tell it is not poop. It is obviously a Mickey bar, Mickey ice cream sandwich or something like that. It might even be that somebody tossed a Coke or coffe in the trash and it hit him.

The individual who posted that must not have a heart. (not here on the Dis, but on YouTube) Wonder how he would feel if that was his father or peepaw!

My story isn't as gross as some, but it can be see that way. I was wheeling our stroller (with my son in it) to the tables behind the Flame Tree BBQ last Saturday and walked past a group of 4 teenage boys who were smoking on the path. It wasn't a smoking path, but the walkway to the tables. I had had enough of people smoking where they shouldn't and *not so nicely* said, "This isn't a smoking area!!" The wonderful teenage boys yelled back to me (as they were past me) to do lewd things to them. :sad2::sad2: I'm still so annoyed by it. I am a former smoker, but I always kept it to where it belonged.

Not really "gross" (well, not as gross as some things in this thread ) but one night it seems some people in the standby line at TSM decided to use the top ledge of the window (under the nightlight) to pile their garbage. Pretty soon it overflowed onto the floor so everyone else had to sidestep all the drink cups, melted ice cream bars, popcorn, and other trash

I've seen it at Disney and SO many other places....

I can't stand to watch someone leave the bathroom without washing their hands!! :scared:

Even Worse - a mom and her two kids all go and then leave without washing any little hands! :scared1:

gross...

We had just exited the pool at POFQ. The boys had just turned 4, so still had a little difficulty unbuckling the life jackets. I had helped Alex take his off and had turned around to help Evan. I heard people laughing behind me and turned around to see Alex with his trunks down, peeing in the bushes. I was horrified:scared1:and pulled up his trunks mid stream. I apologized to those sitting in the area. One guy says "It's fine, at least he didn't pee in the pool, like everyone else does!":rotfl: True that!

I have started to be more compulsive about the handles of shopping carts. I got pink eye a couple of weeks ago-there was no pink eye at the boys school, and that is the only place, other than Walmart/Target where I had been in contact with other people. So now I wipe down the handle with an anti bacterial wipe. I always exit the bathroom with a paper towel in hand to open the door-all those people who do their "bizness" and don't wash their hands!:sick:blech I know it's a drop in the germ bucket, but it makes me feel better!

The grossest thing I probably saw at Disney was a toddler sitting on his mother's lap at the Liberty Tree Tavern who proceeded to have a 'diaper explosion' all over himself and the mom....and I mean ALL OVER the mom. The father took the child and held him out extended like that scene in the Lion King and proceeded to the nearest bathroom while the sight of it seemed to part the crowd like the Red Sea.

OMG! I love your description! This is the first time I've truly laughed at something in the past week. (see my siggie). Thank you!

Scrapworm, I am SO sorry about your DSF. (((hugs)))

these are great guys! Keep em coming!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my father to cancer, so great big HUGS to you and your family  from someone who has been there and knows what you're going through right now.
