LOVE the pictures of Landon being "punished", and good eye with that hidden Mickey. I never would have noticed that.

When we went last year we walked right by that area and on the ground was a HUGE random wet spot...when you stood far enough away...yup, it was MICKEY! Walking by, it looked like someone spilled a soda..nope, not in Disney lol

The one step sister in the blue/green dress looks perfect the way she has her arms. And that picture of the castle is awesome, i love that view

I never knew there was a town crier in MK!! I just read your update out loud to DBF and now he's obsessed with finding him on our next trip! That kinda thing is right up his alley-- I think he talked to a CM in CHH for like 30 minutes, no joke!

How funny about the Mickey!! I don't know if the same people did it, but on Main Street, all the street sweepers (I guess? they were really more like mopping) kept making characters in the street too! It was awesome! I wish I could've gotten a picture with it!

It would be so nice to HAVE to take bad pictures and not worry about blinking or looking goofy. Those sisters have it made. I love them!! I love every view of the castle too!!

good update, didnt know about that town crier either...we have had them call our name out in liberty tree but thats the extent of our shout outs in liberty square.

so while not as cool as riding as the grand marshall in the parade, it was still pretty cool way to go.


did you guys get landon his own meals or was he good with sharing with you? we found parker did pretty good eating off our plates, which saved not having to buy his own each meal.

I didn't even know there was a Town Crier in Liberty Square. That's an interesting fact and it's cool that you got to meet him.

What a great update! The Town Crier sounds like a really fun job to have. I love interacting with the CM's. Cosmic Ray's is one of my all-time favorite CS places. It was always a tradition to eat there when I was growing up. The food is so good!

I will definately pray that all goes well with the job opportunity. Even though it's kind of far away, it sounds like a much better work environment for you.

Landon did really good at sharing with us. Sometimes he eats a ton at home (like as much as me) but he did really good just sharing.

YES! You have to embarrass Kris as much as possible. I'm the exact opposite. Stephanie said she was emabarrassed at first and then got over it, but the whole time I was just eating it up and waving and loving every second of everyone staring! haha

After our crazy delicious lunch, we head over to SPLASH MOUNTAIN to use our fast passes!! Woohoo! I was jumping for joy! I LOVE Splash Mountain. It’s tied at number two with Rock N Rollercoaster! Since the depth of my love for Splash was quite obvious, my friends let me go twice again we had previously agreed, even though I rode Space twice! Yay! I have the nicest friends!!

Steph and I zip through the fast pass line. Of course, it was a scorcher out, so the stand-by line was outrageous. I feel so cool cruising past all of them. Do any of you sometimes pretend fast pass isn’t free and available to anyone so you feel exclusive and like you’re getting some sort of special treatment walking past the stand-by line? Or is that just me? Lol!

Anywho, we get onboard our log in the front row! Score! So we watch the adventures of Br’er Rabbit trying to outwit that silly fox and bear. It was truly magical. Here’s the redneck picture…even though I actually bought this one! I LOVE it!! (Got that Splash frame too!)

We come out of the gift shop and see Landon having the time of his life at The Laughing Place. He barely even noticed I came back, he was having so much fun!! Here’s my little whippersnapper!

So, I trade my Steph for my Dustin (lol) and she stays there with Landon as I take on that fabulous mountain one more time!! We were in the front row again and this time, the whole rest of our log knew each other and they were HILARIOUS!! Of course, I talked to them a little and we dubbed ourselves “the party log”. We were getting tons of water from the teaser drops and the girl behind us was freaking out about sitting in “booty juice”. LOL!! I was cracking up at that one.

After, Steph told us that Landon had gotten bored of the Laughing Place and showed us that she had gotten pictures of us at the opportune moments! The first one is from when the log goes around the front where the drop is but not actually down it. I heard her say my name and turned, but never saw her! She got me as I turned though. Can you see me? I’m kinda hard to spot!

Then here's her picture of Dustin and I as we go down!! I didn’t redneck this one, but she got one just as well! I did buy the actual ride one too though!!

Notice how Dustin has one hand up in the air like it’s so fun, but the other one is down like he’s holding on! Hilarious!

After our lovely trips down Splash, we wanted to get back to the front of MK! Instead of trekking around in the hot, hot sun, we hop aboard the train!! Landon was so excited!

(I know he doesn’t look like it…but he was I swear! He just doesn’t smile too much for pictures!!)
Landon kept saying “choo-choo” and pointing to all the great sights they have set up around there!! Here’s some of the sights we saw:

The last one was funny, because we kept passing water and I said “It would be SO SWEET if we saw some alligators” and then like 5 seconds later, Steph was like “Look! Alligators!!” haha. I love how they have all those fun things to look at on the railroad!

We sat by some really cute kids too. They were telling us all sorts of stuff like their favorite characters and just saying the funniest things. One boy said that Iron Man was his favorite movie but he hadn’t ever seen it yet because he wasn’t allowed to watch it yet. Haha. So funny! They were also saying how they went to see their home baseball team play the Colorado Rockets! I was cracking up, since that was our home team…the Colorado ROCKIES!!

Finally, we bid those kids farewell and exited the train at the front of the MK!! But what did we want all the way back up there for?? Hmmm…

I really wish I could like Splash Mountain...but for me, it's a combo of getting wet and walking around with wet undies all day, AND the drop....I hate drops. But I really wish I liked it, cause it always looks like so much fun!!

I am praying for you and your job. BELIEVE ME, I know how you are feeling. I left a job in February and it was the best thing I ever did for my own mental health. I hope it all goes well!!
