I would love to stay at the Beach Club sometime! Really any of the Epcot resorts that I could walk from would make me happy. I'm considering Boardwalk for my next big trip... All those details are AMAZING! I've heard about the smell too, and our hotel does that as well. We even change it up during the holidays. Honestly I can't even smell it anymore

I am in LOVE LOVE LOVE with all of your Beach Club/room pictures! It's all so perfect. Look at yall, gettin stuff DONE at Disney!

Oh my goodness, another wonderful song choice! I'm slightly obsessed with oldies and this is one of my favorites.

RFID scanners are cool... but RFID scanners at Disney are PERFECT. I loved seeing the little Mickey head every time I'd go into the villa! I love the new system.

Aww, I'm so glad you loved Beach Club so much! It sounds so perfect. I love that a deluxe resort can feel so welcoming and relaxing and still be beautiful and upscale... BLT is the same way!

YAY LET'S GO TO EPCOT! (Side note: typing that sentence made me extremely sad because we can't go to Epcot... if I really wanted to go to Epcot I wouldn't get there until tomorrow morning... sigh.)

I LOVE your room. That Mickey lamp is so cute. One day I will stay at a deluxe resort. (I hope) The beach club looks amazing, I would love to stay there. Animal Kingdom Lodge is one first choice though.

It must be nice to walk 3 minutes and be at a park. I can't wait to hear what you do for your first park experience.

I love the Beach Club... My favorite resort... I keep trying to stay somewhere else (which I've done) but there is nothing better than Beach Club, it's my favorite...

I leaving this coming friday for my trip to your country... I'm going to Durham, NC, I'm spending a couple of days there and then on over to Wilmington, NC for a couple of days on the beach... I'm so excited... My first trip to NC... It's my cousin's 50th birthday party!!! and I'm going by myself. No hubby, No children... (although my children are 24, 21, 18) Party time...

I'm loving you trip report... Thank you for taking the time to entertain us...

The Beach Club looks amazing. I wish my budget would allow for us to stay there. We've always stayed at the Value resorts. My kids would absolutely love the sandy bottom pool.

YAY FOR THE BEACH CLUB!!! Thank goodness you got out of that other hotel and checked into HEAVEN! Even though I've never stayed there, all of your pictures remind me of our first frump trip when we stayed at the Yacht Club. AHH the memories!! I love the decor of the Beach Club rooms! I have never been in one so it's really cool to see pictures. I am getting all excited for you just reading about this! Eeeep it's so beautiful! I can't wait to read more!

It is SO amazing! I highly recommend it! Plus, if you can plan your trip during a time when they're doing the 40% off deal, the price isn't bad at all! I well help you build this arugment for your DH!

I totally know what you mean about the Beach Club. I could explore there, and at many of the other resorts, all day. If the parks were closed I wouldn't even be mad. And being able to walk to Epcot is just... there are no words. To quote my queen Stacey, "How cool is THAT, RIGHT?"

I know, it's so crazy that the resorts at Disney could literally be like a vacation all on their own. Walking to Epcot was the best thing EVER. Seriously, I think I might prefer that over a monorail resort.

Love that resort! I'm pretty sure I will need to stay there next trip. My kids would LOVE that pool.

I need one of those nice slow Disney pause days next week! I am already worried that it will go by too fast!

Can't wait to read about Epcot!

Yay, another TR update!! Yes, DH and I would love to stay at the Beach Club resort! We are total beach bums. I didn't realize that it was so close to Epcot! It is so cool that you can walk to Epcot. We are planning to go back to Disney in the spring of next year. So I will definitely look into staying at the Beach Club resort. When we go in two weeks we plan to make Epcot our first park too. Can't wait to read what happens next on your vacay

I know what you mean, we're beach bums too! Yeah, it is super close to Epcot! You can walk there in no time at all! I HIGHLY recommend staying at the Beach Club! Also, YAY for your trip being so close! I hope you have a blast!

You are really making me excited for our trip to get here with all of your pretty pictures of BC. The first night we're going to just hang out at the pool & I think we'll grab a quick bite to eat at Hurricane Hanna's. The pool looks great!

Ah two updates at once, it's a good day! I can't get over how beautiful Beach Club is! All your pictures are so nice. I love the feeling of walking into a Disney hotel room for the first time on a trip and having the "IM FINALLY HOMEEE" feeling For me, I love taking the to just relax and look through the room so I don't miss a single detail!
Can't wait to hear about Epcot!

I'm glad you liked the two updates, but now I've left you guys hanging for 11 days without one! I'm sorry! I'm so happy you liked the pictures! It really is a gorgeous resort. I'm just like you- I love being able to relax and explore the resorts. There's always so much to see!

I am loving your trip report! We were at WDW the same time as you were, from the 11th - 20th. We make sure to visit the Beach Club everytime we go, usually to eat at Cape May Cafe. We were so bummed that they were not open this year. Can't wait to read about more of your adventures.

Thank you so much! That's awesome that we were there around teh same time! Cape May Cafe was actually open on the 8th, which was the day we checked in, so we ate dinner there our first night. Unfortunately it closed the very next day! I'm sorry you missed it. I hope you get to go on your next trip!

Okay so I've been seriously meaning to start reading your TRs because I definitely remember reading part of one before and really enjoying it (pretty sure the Stuck on Splash attracted me, since we got stuck last trip for 50 minutes before being evacuated )... Anyway, I'm here and plan on catching up so I can continue to follow along.

Okay, true story, I just caught up! And oh my gosh, I'm already loving this TR! I mean, you stayed at my absolute favorite resort, my home away from home... BEACH CLUB! We stayed there for the first time this past January, at the Beach Club Villas and oh my gosh... we are in love. We're staying there again this upcoming January, and I couldn't be happier. The smell (I love how you described it; and um, we may have considered actually purchasing the BC scent for our house, but it costs like $200 ), the decor, the themeing, the closeness to the parks.. I could go on. But you totally get it! My husband Matt's parents are DVC members, so we've been blessed to use their points when we've gone every time, but we're hoping to one day be DVC members ourselves... I know where I'll be looking to buy points!

Anyway, can't wait to see what you guys are up to in Epcot! We do Epcot first, as well, since it's so close! Though I have to admit, it feels a little weird to be there first over MK for us, haha.

Can't wait to read more and I'm so glad I finally came over and caught up/read your TR! We have a lot in common; I am endorsed to teach English/was an English major and planned on becoming a teacher... though I'm not doing that now, I still have major props for anyone I know who is an English teacher!

These updates make me kinda bummed that we are staying at BLT this trip. I want some BC!!!! I've always wanted to swim in that pool! Plus I would be at the WS constantly eating.

I know, I was so proud that I did a double update, and now I haven't updated in almost two weeks!

BC is amazing, but I'm sure you will love BLT too! I want to stay at all of the resorts eventually, so that's on my list! The pool at BC really is great though. That's pretty much what we did with the WS too! We were there constantly!

I'm loving your Beach Club photos...it really is a little piece of Heaven on earth!! The International Gateway entrance is the coolest...I would totally be spoiled and hate to enter Epcot any other way!

I didn't realize how fast the walk to Epcot was from the Beach Club! I thought the walk from Bay Lake Tower to MK was quick at 7 minutes...3 minutes is amazing!!

Ahhhh I just watched "Meet the Robinson's" so I thoroughly enjoyed you throwing "Keep Moving Forward" in. I love that movie so much. I'll get through the movie part and be so moved and then they hit me with the Walt quote that just makes it even more amazing and I'm just an emotional mess. (P.S. I can't even remember if it was this tr or one of your past ones. But you mentioned possibly crying more over happy things than sad things. I AM THE EXACT SAME WAY!! It's just so ridiculous. And I hope that was you who said that or I'm going to sound REALLY ridiculous.)

OH MY GOODNESS...I can't even imagine how nice it would be to WALK to a park from a resort. That sounds so crazy nice not having to wait for buses or deal with parking/trams and just BE THERE in a few short minutes. Bliss.

I TOTALLY agree with you about Meet the Robinsons! The Walt quotes get me everytime! Haha, I think that was from one of my past TRs, but it definitely still applies! I cry constantly. I've learned to embrace it!

Such great pictures of the Beach Club! I've never stayed there but I've stayed at Boardwalk quite a few times and mosied on over to that beach.

The walk to EPCOT is the best but be careful- you'll get spoiled and want to stay that close every time!

I love the Epcot resorts SO MUCH! We went to explore Boardwalk a little on our trip and we loved it! The whole smell thing is such a good idea! It really helps people identify with the hotel!

I totally agree about the deluxe resorts. I used to do the whole, "It doesn't matter where I stay as long as I'm at Disney" thing, but I now realize that deluxe resorts really do make it a totally different vacation experience!

I wish we could go to Epcot. Unfortunately I have to go to WORK. Ughhhhh. Have you ever watched the Jenna Marbles video on YouTube called "I Hate Being a Grown Up"? Yeah, that's pretty much my life.
