Still debating on which week to go next year...
Have it narrowed down to 2/3/18-2/10/18 or 2/24/18-3/3/18.

Staying at Fort Wilderness. Any opinions on one week vs. the other?

We just went early March and loved it. Warm but not hot. Very little rain.

You might also consider whether you prefer Epcot Festival of the Arts or Flower and Garden. You'll catch the first few days of F&G during your later option.

We went the last week of Feb-first week of March in 2016 and loved it. The weather was very nice, not humid, and the crowds were lower. They were higher that week this year, but that was due to Mardi Gras.

I checked for holidays, etc, next year and in 2019 occurring that week, and that week would be good to go.

I've never been during the Festival of the Arts, but I do love Flower and Garden!!

Festival of the arts was nice but it was rather small and all the food was artsy so it was a lot of interpretations of what a common dish might be and many in my book didn't really taste that great..

Flower and garden is epcot all dressed up in it's best.

I've been during both of those time frames. We used to go MLK week or the last week of January into February. However in 2016 we went the last week of Feb/1st week of March and loved it. It was a bit more crowded (mostly at Magic Kingdom, I would say the other parks were only slightly more crowded than in January) but it was a LOT warmer. Not hot/humid, just nicer!

Thanks! We are still debating. The cost of the resort is much cheaper early February so its tempting to switch it.

What was your experience with the weather in early February?

Earlier February was more of a mixed bag temperature wise. There would be warm days but there would also be windy cold days that required hats and gloves. However, don't let that deter you from saving a bit of money and going during that time frame. It could be beautiful your entire trip, hard to really know for sure. You really cannot beat the low crowds in early Feb.

To answer your question: We went to WDW for the first time in February this year. We had a lot of the same concerns. I researched when Easter was, Mardi Gras, etc, and decided on Feb 6 thru 16th. It worked out great, but I forgot about the cheerleaders. There were ALOT of huge groups of them, but they were not a nuisance, just clogged up the rides at times. There were a few BTG;s, but they were few and far between, and they were not a problem at all.
The weather was great/ 80's and no humidity. Just perfect! But I am aware that we were lucky.
I would research the marathons, Easter, groups, and events for the week you want to go. That was a determining factor for us. Hope this helps:)

I use to go early February but now switched to early March for better weather. You can still get lucky in February but sometimes it's 50 in the morning.
