The Great Movie Ride??

Is this attraction still open? I remember going on this and riding through scenes from many movies. At one point, a CM interacted with the guests, there was a slightly scary Alien scene, and at the end a montage of many movies.

I took my DSs on this when they were younger (about 5 and 6 years old), but now they are 14 and 15 and really into movies. I think they would love the Great Movie Ride if it is still in operation.

Yup! It's still going. If fact last year it was closed for refurbishment. What they did I didn't notice since it looked the same as the last time we rode it!

I heard that what they did was re-painting, cleaning, costume cleaning and some replacement, upgrades to the sound system and computers.

One of our favorites,love the whole experience from que area to the film clips at end of the ride.A must do when we visit MGM.
