Basically, "The Gospel" is a modern day version of the story of the prodigal son. It focuses on a large black church and the pastor who's son left the church when he was young and become a big R&B artisst with the hit song "Let Me Undress You." Well he returns to the church when he finds out his dad is sick.
I thought it was a good film. Good message and AWESOME music! It's pretty family friendly, a few scenes at the beginning might make parents of very sheltered kids a little uneasy, but overall it was great.
