Can anyone tell me, for sure, that the golden mickey ears are sold at WDW? Are they sold at the hat shop at MK? can I get them stiched? I really really want a pair!
They are something like $12-14 I think without stiching. We didn't get ours stitched. They are in several places in all the parks. They are so cute too! They also have Christmas mouse ears -- the shape is that of the regular mouse ears but it is red with white 'fur' on the trim. Too cute!
$11.95 plain . $2.00 for stitching. We bought ours and got them stitched at the big store in Toontown. ALso saw them being stitched at Sir Mickey's in Fantasyland.

VMK= Virtual Magic Kingdom. It's a free online game put out by Disney. There is a forum for it here just below the Community and Photography boards. If you buy certain things in the parks (hats, t-shirts) you can get a card with a code on it to use in the game and get virtual stuff. You can stop by VMK Central on Main Street at the Cinema and get cards to do quests in the park (like scavenger hunts) and redeem them for a free VMK tour of the MK. Pretty cool!
We got ours in MK and had them stitched at DTD in the Christmas store. We looked all over for kid size golden mickey ears, but the CM's said all they had were adult sizes. We went ahead and got them for all of us. The kids look so cute in them.
Unless its changed we got our in Toontown in MK back in October and they stitched the names on them for free. The only thing is that they won't do nicknames.
